Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Bkk/ktm/del/ccu/dac - Paro, Bhutan

Arrive Paro International Airport from the above sector by Druk-Air the National flight of Bhutan and after the Immigration & Custom formalities you will be transferred to Hotel. After well settled with the hotel if time permits drive around Paro valley to visit the places of interests. Overnight hotel.
Day 2

Paro Sightseeing

After breakfast drive to visit the Drugyel Dzong of 1649 which withstood the Tibetan Invansion in the 17th century but unfortunately destroyed by fire in 1950. It is very interesting to visit to experience structure of the fortress with views of surrounding Valley and mountains. Overnight Hotel
Day 3

Paro To Thimphu

Morning make the hiking excursion to Taktsang Gompa (Tiger Nest Monastery) found on the cliff of rock 3000 ft above the valley, believed to be meditating place for Guru Rimpoche in 8th century and followed by his followed and other great Lamas. At present the holy pilgrimage site for Buddhists and adventurous & daring spot for the visitors. After lunch drive to Thimphu the capital city of Bhutan for an hour. Overnight Hotel.
Day 4

Thimphu Sightseeing

After breakfast drive around the Thimphu valley to visit the place of interest like the Memorial Chorten of the Third king of Bhutan,Changangkha lhakhang of 12th century, Zelukha Nunnery, Great Buddha Statue Temple, Tashichho-Dzong the main secretariat Building and walk around the city. Overnight Hotel
Day 5

Thimphu To Punakha

Make an early journey to Punakha valley to catch the view of Himalayas from the Dochu-la pass Alt. 3150 m and enjoy the Breakfast at Dochu-la hotel. Continue the drive to Punakha. After lunch visit Punakha Dzong built at the confluence of Pho-chu (male river) and Mo-chu (female river). Ovenight Hotel
Day 6

Punakha To Gangtey

Make the excursion to Gangtey monastery in Phobjekha valley of winter migration place for Black Necked Crane from November to March. Visit the monastery and hike on the natural trial to views and visit the crane center. Then drive back to Punakha. Overnight Hotel.
Day 7

Punakha To Paro

Morning visit Khumsum Yuele Chorten specially built for welfare for the 5th King of Bhutan and country, Chimi Lhakhang of 15th century of divine mad lama. After lunch drive Paro across Dochu-la pass by passing Thimphu city for 4 hours. Overnight Hotel.
Day 8

Departure Paro - Bkk/ktm/del/ccu/dac

Depending on the flight departure timing you will be transferred to Paro international Airport for the flight to one’s next destination
