Karbakeli Eco Trek is a new trekking route in the Annapurna region, which connects Poon Hill, Phulbari and Karbakeli with Beni Bazaar, the headquarters of the Myagdi district. The Karbekeli Eco Trekking trekking route is explored in April 2018, together with the cooperation of Concept Nepal by the Karbakeli Conservation Committee located in the Annapurna Rural Municipality.

The Karbakeli Eco trekking route provides you with stunning views of the Gurja Mountain, Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna Himalayan range. Further, biological diversity and the combination of art and culture of the local community make this trek very special. Karbakeli trekking is ideal for those who want to enjoying the rural lifestyle of Nepal. Wandering in the area of Karbakeli Baba and his temple awakens spiritual vibes in your mind and lets you discover the Nepali spirituality. Locals have established a tourism management committee here to develop and promote the trekking route. Natural beauty, local culture and warm hospitality are the main features of the Karbakeli Eco Trek.

Poon Hill is a popular viewpoint reachable from Ghorepani. You will see the whole Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range, including beautiful Machhapuchhre. The best time to visit this place is the early morning to witness how the sun slowly lights up peak after peak and covers them in golden light.
