Arrival at Srinagar International Airport transfer to hotel/houseboat in Srinagar-Srinagar which is the summer seasonal capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The city is famous for its gardens, lakes and houseboats. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri Handicrafts, dry fruits food & restaurants.

Srinagar city tour consists of visiting famous Mughal Gardens located on the eastern bank of Dal Lake i.e Nishat , Shalimar , Chashma Shahi & Parimahal also some historical places like Dargah Hazratbal, Jamma Masjid & Shah-e-Hamdan Shrine located in the heart of old city.
City has a 360 Degree view from the Shanker Acharya temple located on the baks of Dal Lake , one has to climb 280 Steps to visit Shanker Acharya temple & picturesque and breath taking view of City.

Post lunch Visit to Aru Valley which is a small village, 15 km upstream the Lidder River, The route is picturesque with ample campsites. This village is a straight point for treks to the kolahoi glacier. Recently Movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan was shot here in Aru Valley, visit Chandanwari. Chandanwari 16 km from Pahalgam is the starting point of sacred Amarnath Yatra and is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge. Overnight at Hotel

Evening Enjoy Shikara Ride in famous Dal lake .  Dal lake is a market itself , during your cruise on Shikara the boat man will offer you various other services offered by different vendors. You can take photo with traditional Kashmir dress and for this different boat man with all accessories are available, in between the lake they can take your photo and those photos will be delivered at your hotel or houseboat.
Villages by the side of Dal lake grows vegetables. Here water level is low and you can see various types of vegetables on the small branches while travelling on the Shikara. There are shops selling traditional Kashmiri dress and shawls. These shops are on water and openings are towards lake side.

Breakfast at hotel and Drive towards Gulmarg 50kms Approx. from Srinagar 2 hours drive from   Srinagar arriving Gulmarg  This will be one of the most memorable day of your trip as you enjoy sightseeing at Gulmarg .
Enjoy the highest cable car ride of the world to 14500 feet to Apharwat, famously known as the Gondola Experience.
The world famous Gondola (cable car) consisting of two phases:
·1st phase - Gulmarg to Kongdoori
·  2nd phase - Kongdoori to Apharwat. 
On the upside you can have fun of skiing, sledging and ATV snow bikes.
 
Explore the ski slopes and have lunch in Gulmarg.
 
The natural meadows of Gulmarg, which are covered with snow in winter, allow the growth of wild flowers such as daisies, forget-me-nots and butter cups during spring and summer.  The meadows are interspersed by enclosed parks and small lakes, and surrounded by forests of green pine and fir.
 
Post Lunch head back to Srinagar and enjoy the scenic landscapes as they pass by.. Sure to arouse the photography talents in each one of us. overnight at Hotel.

Sonmarg synonymous with quiet meadows and flower-carpeted fields surrounded by amazing glaciers, miniature plateaus , snowfields , pines and islets. The entire region , 80 km from Srinagar, has some of the highest mountain ranges of the World. These Snow clad peaks when reflect the golden rays of the sun, give a sparkling effect to the entire valley. This is the reason why the hill station is named Sonmarg or Sonamarg.  The word Sonmarg literally means 'the Meadows of Gold'. The glaciers, waterfalls and placid lakes add some more beauty to this tranquil valley. Situated at an altitude of 2740 m above sea level, at the foot of the zojila pass, Sonmarg is the Gateway of Ladakh. It is a perfect place for the excursionists. A large number of Hindi movies have been pictured in the serene beauties of Sonmarg.
