Kashmir Houseboat Tour

On arrival at Srinagar, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Houseboat. Enjoy an enchanting boat ride in the serene waters of Dal Lake in the late afternoon. Stay overnight in the Houseboat.

In the morning ready for an excursion to Mughal -Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) was built by Asif Khan, brother of Empress Noorjehan in 1632 AD. Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) was built by Jehangir for his wife Noor Jehan. Situated on the bank of Dal Lake, these gardens are overlooked by picturesque Zabarwan Mountains. The distance from Srinagar to these gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit the carpet-weaving factory. Have dinner and spend the night in the Houseboat.

In the morning start for Gulmarg-the Meadow of Flowers, which is situated at an altitude of 2730 m above the sea level. Stay overnight in the hotel in Gulmarg.

Leave Gulmarg after having early breakfast and drive to Pahalgam or the Valley of Shepherds via Srinagar. Drive through the eye-catching Saffron fields, visit Awantipura ruins, an 1100 years Old Temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantivarman. After reaching Pahalgam, you will be transferred to the hotel. Enjoy the lunch and dinner and spend overnight in the hotel at Pahalgam.

In the morning enjoy the natural beauty of Pahalgam. Set amidst soaring mountains, glistening glaciers, gushing silvery streams and dense pine and cedar forests, Pahalgam offers many options for walks, pony trekking, fishing and camping. Drive back to Srinagar in afternoon and spend the night in the houseboat.
