Kaziranga and Shillong Tour

Welcome to Guwahati – the Gateway of North East. Pick up from Guwahati Airport/Railway Station and drive towards the Borapani Umiam Lake,a tranquil lake surrounded by sylvan hills with a mesmerizing view . Post that visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak and local sightseeing which includes Don Bosco Museum, Ward’s Lake and Lady Hydari Park. Evening if time permits visit local market i.e Police Bazar. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Morning after breakfast head towards Mawlynnong . Here one can view the fascinating Living root bridge and Mawlynnong Village- Asia’s cleanest village. Later drive to Dawki. You can try boating at Umgot river and local sightseeing at Dawki. Also visit Bangladesh border. Evening back to Shillong for over-night stay.

Activities : Hill Stations & Valleys

After breakfast drive towards Cherrapunji also known as Sohra , the world’s wettest town which receives heaviest rainfall in the world . On the way comes Mawkdok Valley where we will stop to explore Mawsmai Cave. Further move to Cherrapunji and visit Nohkalikai falls , world’s fourth tallest waterfalls. Later visit Eco park and Seven sisters falls. Post activity back to Shillong for over-night stay.

Activities : Hill Stations & Valleys

Post breakfast move from Shillong and head towards Kaziranga. Explore the local tea estate at Kaziranga and Orchid Garden. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Activities : Wildlife Sanctuaries & National Parks

Early morning (5:00 am) explore Kaziranga National Park on Elephant Safari. On return explore the eastern range on a Jeep Safari where you will see Hog Deers, Sambhars and one horn Rhinos feeding in the plentiful. Evening back to Guwahati and drop at the airport/railway station as per the schedule.
