Drive north to the Grumeti River, where crocodiles lie in ambush during the migration. Spectacular game viewing in a less-visited area of the park. Return to camp for a special evening dinner with local musicians.

Morning game drive, then depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the crater rim — your first view of the ancient caldera is breathtaking. Overnight at a crater-rim lodge for sunset views.

Descend into the crater at dawn and spend the entire day on the crater floor — lion, rhino, flamingo, elephant, and hippo all concentrated in one extraordinary arena. Picnic lunch on the crater floor. Ascend in the late afternoon.
