A day trip to Thekkady from Munnar after breakfast. The attractive Thekkady or Periyar Lake is noted for its wide variety of fauna and is nestled in the centre of a protected forest region. The hill town of Thekkady is quite lovely, with calm scenery, lush crops, and deep woods. The cool, fragrant breeze of the Western Ghats reveals the area’s undiscovered beauty. Return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.
