Munnar is situated at a commingling of three mountain streams, Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala, 1600 meters above sea level. This hill station was once the summer resort of the British in the South India. Among the exotic flora  found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakruinji.This rarest species of flowers, which bathes the hills in blue every twelve years, will bloom next in AD 206.Munnar also has the highest peak in South India – Anamudi,which towers over 2695 meters.Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking. It is 100 kms away from Thekkady.Your cruise is through the Kuttanad.Kuttanad is known as the rice bowl of Kerala. With a vast stretch of greenery Kuttanad is situated in the heart of backwaters. This is a unique tour package covering Munnar, and backwaters at Alappuzha in 4 days and 3 nights.Travel/health insurance. Entrance fees to various sightseeing places. Camera/ Video charges. Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 Munnar

    You are greeted on arrival at Cochin International Airport /Railway station by Halo Backwaters representative and thereafter depart for Munnar (130 kms / 04 hrs) enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. Arrive Munnar and check in at hotel. Day at Leisure. Overnight at Munnar.

    Meals & Drinks : Breakfast

  • Day 2 Munnar

    Morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing in Munnar which includes Eravikulam National park (Rajamalai), a top peak of Munnar where you may see Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goats), Tea Museum, Flower garden,Mattupetty Dam, Eco-Point, Kundala Dam etc. You can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional).Overnight at Munnar.

  • Day 3 Munnar - Alappuzha

    Mornings after breakfast drive to Alleppey, Water locked place is endowed with immense natural beauty and array of rivers, canals and lakes ideal for boat cruise. On arrival check in to a traditional Kerala Style Houseboat and Cruise through the backwaters is the fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. Overnight at House Boat.

  • Day 4 Alappuzha - Kochi Airport/railway Station

  • The above cost is for 02 people on twin sharing basis.

  • A minimum of 02 persons are required.

  • For the package with transportation, a minimum of 2 people is mandatory

  • Children above the age of 12 years will be charged the applicable adult rates.

  • Children above the age of 05 years will be charged the applicable extra bed rates.

  • In case of an extra person, the third bed is a rollaway bed or cot.

  • Base category rooms are allotted for the stay, Any requirement / availability of higher category of room would incur extra cost.

  • The above Rates applicable for today and subject to change at later dates.

  • All Rates & bookings subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

  • Rates may vary if there is hike in fuel price/ Tax / Permit

  • A/c in the houseboat will be working from 09.00 PM to 07.00 AM.

  • Houseboat will be anchored from 05 00 PM to 0730 AM

  • Accommodation in A/c rooms in all places except in Munnar and Thekkady where rooms are Non a/c.

  • All reservations are depending upon the availability of rooms at the time of your final confirmation.

  • The company is not responsible for the  event of any of the above mentioned sightseeing are  not becoming available at a particular date caused by factors beyond our control like rail and flight delays, roadblocks, vehicle mal-functions, political disturbances, holidays and maintenance work in the park or museum.

  • The company will not be held responsible for any damages or sabotage caused to the property of the customer due to riots, armed dacoities, terrorist activity or any other incidents, events, occurrences etc., if for any reason whatsoever his employee or representative is present at the customer's premises during such happening provided that they have no role in such happenings.

  • The company is not liable to  provide the vehicle(s) contracted for in case he is unable to do so on account of mob violence, riots, communal violence, strike, agitation, natural calamities, flooding, inundation, water logging, typhoon, cyclone or other obstructions/disturbances etc. adversely affecting, threatening or obstructing safe passage for the vehicle. In such event the contractor will try to provide transport to the maximum extent possible & the may customer may not insist, pressure or coerce the contractor or his driver on such occasions & reluctance, disinclination or refusal on the part of the driver will not be construed to be misconduct, dereliction, disrespect or deficiency in service on the part of the contractor. The driver's judgement is such cases to be accepted by all parties.
