Begin your trek at Machame Gate (1790m) and ascend to Machame Camp (3010m). This opening day introduces the Machame route terrain with varied natural scenery and a steady climb to aid acclimatisation, setting the pace for the days ahead.

Continue trekking from Machame Camp (3010m) to Shira Camp (3845m). The day involves a significant altitude gain that contributes to acclimatisation and offers expansive views and varied mountain environments typical of the Machame route.

From Shira Cave area (3845m) you trek toward Barranco Camp (3960m). This segment maintains altitude while traversing scenic highland terrain and prepares climbers for the more technical sections ahead.

Ascend from Barranco Camp (3960m) to Barafu Camp (4640m). This day involves climbing to higher elevations in preparation for the summit attempt, with increasing exposure to alpine conditions and reduced vegetation.

Undertake the pre dawn summit push from Barafu Camp (4640m) to UHURU PEAK (5895m) and then descend to Millennium Camp (3790m). This is the most demanding day featuring the summit experience at Kilimanjaro's highest point followed by a significant descent to lower elevation for rest.

Final descent from Millennium Camp (3790m) down to Mweka Gate (1630m). After exiting the park via Mweka gate you are transferred back to Moshi, concluding the Machame 6 day climb.
