Trek from Marangu Gate through rainforest on ascent to the first hut (Mandara). The day focuses on initial ascent and acclimatisation with an easy stroll near the hut to aid adjustment to altitude.

Longer trekking day moving from Mandara to Horombo across moorland landscapes. This day involves increased distance and changing scenery as you continue altitude gain and acclimatisation.

Acclimatisation day based at Horombo Hut with options for short hikes such as Zebra Rocks. The day is intended for rest, hydration and light activity to aid acclimatisation before higher ascent.

Trek from Horombo to reach Kibo Hut where teams rest and prepare for the summit night. Around midnight a summit push begins, aiming for Gilman Point and continuing to Uhuru Peak, with summit-night support from the mountain crew.

Descent from Kibo down to Marangu Gate followed by transfer to Moshi. Celebrate summit achievements with certificates in Moshi and transfer onward as required.
