When the whole country wind-ups the celebration of Dussehra by burning the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhkarna and Meghnath, dussehra at Kullu gets kicked off devoid of this burning ritual. It is a beautiful amalgam of history, culture and customs. During the festival you will get a chance to see the opening ceremony of festival with Rath Yatra of Lord Raghunath which begins arr the Chariot of Devi Hadimba (Grand Mother of Royal family of Kullu) reaches Kullu & people pull the Rath(Chariot) of Lord Raghunath Ji towards Dhaalpur Ground. Hundreds of Hindu deities mounted on colorful & decorated palanquins participate in this procession and gives an impression being in heaven alive with Gods. We have also arranged a sightseeing tour of Manali & Rohtang Pass with a comfortable stay in the best hotels in the region. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : New Delhi to Chandigarh (250 Kms/5 Hours)

  On your arrival at New Delhi airport/Railway Station, Discover Yatra's Cab will pick you up & proceed for Chandigarh. On reaching Chandigarh check in to hotel & have some rest. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of Chandigarh by visiting Le-Corbuiser Center where this Swiss- French architect Le Corbuiser conceptualized the dra of City Beautiful- Chandigarh. We will also take you with us to Rock Garden built with urban waste material & Sukhna Lake. In the evening visit Rose Garden & Sec 17 Plaza. (All sightseeing tours are subject to me availability) Night stay at hotel.

• Day 2 : Chandigarh to Kullu (270 Kms/7-8 Hours Journey)

  After breakfast proceed for Kullu. On way to Kullu witness Asia's largest man made Lake 'Govind Sagar'. On reaching Kullu, check in to hotel & freshen up. In the evening visit the famous Dhalpur Dussehra Ground ready for opening ceremony of Dussehra festival. Night stay at hotel.

• Day 3 : Kullu

  Post breakfast visit the temple of Lord Raghunath Ji at Raghunathpur. In the afternoon get ready to experience the Rath Yatra procession of Lord Raghunath Ji and opening ceremony of International Kullu Dussehra Festival. You will be mesmerized by the beats of drums & trumpets being played. Witness the Rath Yatra & the grand procession when Gods and Goddesses accompany the Chariot of Lord Raghunath. Overnight stay at hotel in Kullu.

• Day 4 : Kullu - Manali Local Sightseeing with Hadimba Temple

  After having your breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Manali. Visit the temple of Devi Hadimba with carved wooden doors and a 24 meters tall wooden 'shikhar' (top). The temple is surrounded by cedar forests. We will also take you to the Tibetan Monastery, Log Hut area & Vashisht temple which has hot sulphur springs. Later visit the famous Roerich Art Galley named aer Russian Art Nikolai Konstannovich Rerikh who was a painter, a spiritualist and a Inner Asian explore. You will also be visiting Urusva Himalayan Folk & Art Museum, which houses ethnological artifacts and photos from the early days Overnight stay at hotel in Manali.

• Day 5 : Manali to Delhi

Payment Terms & Methods :
25% Advance Percentage of total booking amount
Airfare/Transport fare to be paid full at one time in advance.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :
Upon cancellation, refund will be made after deducting the Retention Amount.
Retention Amount varies as per the number of days left before your package start date.
Refund will be made within 25 working days from the date of receipt of the cancellation.

Please consult driver / local representative for next day’s sightseeing schedule / Transfers timings. If any passenger fails to follow timings given to him, then he may miss that particular sightseeing / transfers and Global Travelers will not be responsible to arrange the same. He / She Needs to arrange the same on direct payment basis.
Time management is must during sightseeing to avoid the missing of places, kindly note.
