Leave your work and worries behind as you board a comfortable AC Volvo at 6pm on Friday evening (from Connaught Place in Delhi)

Arrive in Manali at 9 am, leisure day in Manali, chill out at hot spring waters in Vashishtha Village, hang out at various cafes in Old Manali, or just “be” by a lonely stretch of the Beas river

After breakfast leave for Jispa (5-6 hours drive via Rohtang Pass, where landscape changes from lush green Manali side to arid, rugged peaks of Lahaul & Chandra Valley). The afternoon is free to explore. Night rest at guest house in Jispa.

Today is one of the longest days of the trip wherein we cross the high altitude passes of Baralachala & Lachangla, then the mighty Skyangchu thang (Biggest & highest plateau on earth on a stretch of 42 Kms). After crossing the mighty Tanglalng la we start descending towards the Indus Valley. We will check–in to the Guest House in Leh by late evening

Journey towards the ancient Silk Route via the highest motorable road on earth (Khardungla 18384 feet). Visit the famous Deskit Gompa of Nubra Valley. Walk on the sand dunes and ride the double humped camel (Bactrian camels brought to Ladakh by ancient Silk Route traders). Night Stay in Nubra.

By late afternoon we come back to Leh and chill or roam around Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace & Leh Monastery

Discover the myriad colours and shades of Pangong lake. Leave Leh in the morning and cross the third highest motorable pass (Changla) on earth. Spend good 3-4 hours by the great Pangong, 2/3rd of which lies inside the China border. Overnight at Camps by the Pangong Lake.

Wake up calls by the migratory birds this morning. Indulge in the walk beside the lake or go for your photography splurge. Arrive at Leh in second half. Evening free. Overnight in Leh .

Wake up call by the migratory birds. After breakfast we leave for Tso Moriri lake. Arrive at Karzok village and check in at the camps/guest house. Situated at 15,000 ft (4,572 m), Karzok is the only permanent settlement in Rupshu region with an approximate population of 500 people. The few barley fields at Karzok must be among the highest cultivation in the world. Day free to explore the Lake area and the village. In the evening we visit Karzok monastery. The clear blue Tso Moriri lake is one of the most breathtaking lakes in Ladakh. This brackish water lake is considered sacred by the locals.The Lake is a breeding ground for numerous species of birds like Great Crested Grebe, the Brahmini duck, Bar Headed Geese, etc. This region also has large number of Kiangs (Tibetan wild ass) and it’s not difficult to spot them.

Today we reach the beautiful Tso Kar lake by late afternoon. Tso Kar (4485 m) is also called White Lake because of salt deposits around it. Ride back to Leh in afternoon
