The Lamkhaga Pass Trek is one of the hardest treks in the remote areas of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The remote trail is currently said to be the great course from Kinnaur to Gangotri, which was first crossed by Marco Pallis in 1933. The trek will give you a chance to investigate the remote zones of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand more than ever. Day 1 : Shimla – Chitkul (245 KMS | 8-9 hours | 11269 feet)
Achieve Shimla all alone which is effortlessly available from Delhi and Chandigarh. After achieving Shimla, take nearby transport to achieve Chitkul around the same time through the Kufri and Narkanda course. Eat and spend the night at Chitkul.
Day 2 : Chitkul – Nagasthi – Rani Kanda (10 KMS|5 hours|12139 feet)
Chitkul is the last settlement of the Baspa Valley and it is a standout amongst the most delightful places in the Kinnaur Valley. We will begin our trek here along the Baspa River and reach there by night and spend the night in the tents at Rani Kanda.
Day 3 : Acclimatization Day
We will spend the day at Rani Kanda to adapt ourselves to the high elevation. This is a high elevation trek and it is essential for us to become accustomed to it. So we will ensure that we keep ourselves hydrated, rest well and eat sound and light sustenance. Over 12000 feet, any individual can fall wiped out because of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). It doesn’t make a difference how fit the individual is, it is probably going to get AMS on the off chance that you don’t avoid potential risk. Eat and spend the night in the tents.
Day 4 : Rani Kanda – Dumti (15 KMS | 7-8 hours | 13287 feet)
Today we will begin trekking through the falling cascades and brilliant knolls to achieve Dumti. Eat after coming to and remain medium-term in the tents at Dumti.
Day 5 : Dumti – Gundar (15 KMS | 7 hours | 14432 feet)
Today we trek up along the Baspa River to achieve Gundar. In the wake of intersection a couple of spouting little streams we will achieve our goal. Spend the night at Gundar in tents.
Day 6 : Gundar-Lamkhaga Pass Base Camp (12 KMS | 6 hours | 14599 feet)
We will begin ahead of schedule, as today is an extreme and specialized day relying upon the snow conditions. The lofty climb may require some specialized apparatus, so take after the directions of your trek pioneers. Achieve the Base Camp by night and remain medium-term.
Day 7 : Lamkhaga Pass Base Camp – Base Camp II (6 KMS | 5-6 hours | 14599 feet)
We will begin early today as it’s a precarious move to Base Camp 2 and it might require more investment than anticipated. We will trek towards the following base camp which is in the Kinnaur Valley. We will spend the night in the tents.
Day 8 : Base camp II – Lamkhaga Pass – Gangotri (16 KMS | 6 hours | 17335 feet)
We will begin right on time for our last climb to the Lamkhaga Pass and cross the mountain pass. In the wake of investing some energy at the Pass, we will trek towards the base camps of Gangotri. We have achieved Uttarakhand in the wake of intersection the Pass. The precarious climb may require specialized rigging and master bolster.
Day 9 : Gangotri – Kyarkoti (12532 feet)
In the wake of intersection the ice sheet and couple of knolls we will plummet to the base camp of Kyarkoti. Spend the night in the tents.
Day 10 : Kyarkoti – Harsil (7478 Feet)
Our lovely voyage in the Himalayas finishes up today as we achieve Harsil through verdant woods and streams. Continue towards your goal from here.
