Day wise Itinerary

• Day 4 : Travel from Shrinagar to Kargil. Stay at Kargil

  Sonmarg: Hazarathbal, Sindhunadi, Sonmarg.

  Budhda Monastery
  Drass : It is a town in the Kargil District of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is often called 'TheGateway to Ladakh. The town shot into prominence in the summer of 1999 following Pakistani-backed incursions into Jammu and Kashmir.
  Tiger Hill : Tiger Hill and the Tololing ranges were captured by the Pakistani army and coulddirectly block National Highway 1D. The famous three heights which were recaptured duringthe war were the Tololing, Tiger Hill and The Three Pimples.

• Day 5 : Travel from Kargil to Leh. Leh Stay

  1) Moon back Monastery
  2) Panther Sahib : It’s a Huge gurudwara.
  3)Magnetic hill

• Day 6 : In the morning Leh sight sceen. Stay at Leh

  Sindhu : River Sindhu or Indus - One of the world's longest rivers, which gave 'India' its name.
  Leh : Shey Monastery, Thiksey Monastery and Hemis Monastery
  Rest of the day free to explore the markets for shopping etc.

• Day 7 : Visit to Pangong Lake. Stay at Leh

  Pangong Lake : Situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China

  • Hotspots : Pangong Lake

• Day 8 : Travel from Leh to Nubra. Stay at Nubra.

  Khardong-La : Khardong-La (80 kms round trip / alt: 18,380 ft.), highest motorable pass in the world and recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.

  This review is on behalf of my father & mother in law’s. They had a wonderful experience of trip booking with Chitari travels. The trip package was for Rajasthan and it covered nearly the whole of the Rajasthan. Hotel, food and bus management was very proper. The food they were cooking and serving never repeated. Bus driver, cooking team and particularly Manager Mr. Ram Deshmukh were polite and friendly during the whole trip.
