Welcome to your 'Fascinating Ladakh' tour! Arrive into Leh Airport. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is free for acclimatisation. In the evening, visit the Shanti Stupa and Sankar Monastery. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Today, proceed on a full day excursion visiting Shey Palace, the 15th century summer palace and the monastery of Leh's Royal family. Then proceed to the 800 year old gompa at Thiksey built on a hilltop, modeled on the famous Potala Palace in Lhasa. Later visit Hemis Monastery, hidden in a gorge, the largest and wealthiest gompa in Ladakh. The rest of the evening is free. Overnight stay at the hotel.

This morning, drive to Nubra Valley, popularly known as Ldorma or 'the valley of flowers' via Khardungla Pass - the world's highest motorable road (18380 feet). The rest of the evening is free. Overnight stay at the campsite.

This morning, drive to Leh, once again via Khardungla Pass, the world's highest motorable road. The evening is at leisure to discover Leh bazaar for souvenirs or you can take a walk and explore Leh Jokhang / Leh mosque. Overnight stay at the hotel

In the morning, proceed to visit the amazing Pangong Lake to the east of Leh, crossing Changla Pass 17500 feet/ 5300 mts. Pangong is one of the largest lakes in the Himalayas spanning 140 km in length and 3-10 kms in width, half of which is in Tibet. Packed lunch will be served en route. Explore the crystal clear blue salt water lake. Later, return to Leh. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B, PL, D)
