Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal – 17th-century palace with Indo-Saracenic architecture.

Gandhi Memorial Museum – one of the few museums dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.

Evening:

Explore Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam (Temple Tank) – peaceful evening spot.

Optional: Shopping in Madurai’s temple street markets (silks, handicrafts, brass lamps).

Overnight in Madurai.

Madurai _ Palani (120 Km / 3-3.5hrs drive)

Morning:

After breakfast, drive to Palani, one of the six abodes of Lord Murugan (Arupadai Veedu).

En-route, optional stop at:

Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple (first among the six abodes) near Madurai.

Dindigul Rock Fort – scenic stop with panoramic town views (light climb).

Afternoon:

Check in at hotel in Palani.

After lunch, visit Palani Murugan Temple – atop Sivagiri Hill.

Access by Winch / Rope Car / Steps (choose based on comfort).

Temple Darshan & Prasadam (Palani Panchamirtham is famous).

Evening:

Relax or explore local markets around temple base.

Drop at Madurai Airport / Railway Station.
