The Manaslu Circuit Trek leads you through the mountain peaks, glaciers, high-altitude lakes, rivers, pastures, and dense forests of the pristine Manaslu Conservation Area (1663 km2). Mount Manaslu (8163m) is the major attraction of the park. On this trek, you can get great views of mount Annapurna, Ganesh, and Langtang. Manaslu Conservation Area is home to snow leopards, Grey Wolves, Musk Deer, Blue Sheep, and Himalayan Thar. You can discover 21 species of mammals, 193 species of birds, 587 species of vascular plants, and 2500 species of flora during this trek. Bird species seen during this trek are the Variegated laughing thrush, Grandala, and Northern Goshawk. Manaslu circuit trek offers a unique experience of wilderness and adventure in the pristine Manaslu conservation area.
Kathmandu to Machhakhola (2952ft) 8/9 hours drive
Early in the morning, you will take a drive to Sotikhola village in Dhading district. On the way, you can see green terraces and rural communities. After taking the dirt road to Sotikhola you can see the views of Mount Annapurna, Langtang, Ganesh, and Manaslu. You will stay overnight in Machhakhola

Machhakhola to Jagat (4625ft) 6/7 hours
Today you will cross Thado Khola and get to Khorlabesi. You will trek by the natural hot spring in Tatopani and cross the Budhi Gandaki river. You will trek further via Dobhan crosses the Yaru river and climb Thado Bharyang. After then you will trek through beautiful Gurung settlements and get to Jagat for staying overnight.

Jagat to Deng (5917ft) 6/7 hours
You will trek via Gurung village Philim and through the cultivated lands to Ekle Bhatti. From there you will cross the river Budi Gandakai and continue through a bamboo forest to Deng. You will cross the Deng River and stay overnight in the village of Deng

Deng to Namrung (8626ft) 6/7 hours
Today you will cross the river Budi Gandaki again and enter the Budi Gandaki valley. You will then trek via Prok village while gazing at stunning views of Mount Siringi. After then you will trek further upstream of river Budi Gandaki crossing it several times and getting to Namrung for staying overnight.

Namrung to Samagaon (11578ft) 6/7 hours
As you trek further from Namrung village you can get spectacular views of Mount Ganesh, Siringi, and Himchuli. You will continue trekking to Lihi village through beautiful forests, farm fields, and Chortens. After then you will pass through Lho village, and further you will get to Lho village from where you can get magnificent views of Mount Manaslu. You will also explore Ribung Gompa in Lho village and trek to Shyala. From Shyala you can get dramatic views of Mount Himchuli, Peak 29, Manaslu, and numerous snow-capped peaks. Trekking further you will get to Samagaon where you will stay overnight.

Rest day
You will spend the day at Samagaon acclimatizing and exploring the village. You can find thousands of Mani stones throughout the village. The village is mostly inhabited by the Sherpa community. You can enjoy warm Nepalese hospitality at Samagaon. Later in the day, you will visit Pungyen Gompa, and your guide will tell you interesting stories about the village and the mountains. You will stay overnight in Samagaon.

Samagaon to Samdo (12660ft) 4/5 hours
You will continue trekking toward Samdo through the beautiful Birch and Juniper forests. You will pass through the alpine grassland of Kermo Kharka and cross the river Budi Gandaki on a wooden bridge to get to Samdo. You will stay overnight in Samdo.

Rest day
Today you will stay in Samdo for acclimatization. Later in the day, you will go on a day hike to a beautiful spot from where you can get amazing views of mount Simrang, Hiunchuli, Ngadi, Cheo, Kang, Guru, and Larkye Peak.

You will trek further from Dharmashala through the moraines of the glacier. Crossing the pass you will enter the magnificent sight of Mount Manaslu. You will trek further to Bimthang gazing at this beautiful mountain glowing gold. Overnight in Bimthang

Bhimtang to Dharapani (6102ft) 5/6 hours
Today you will descend through Sangure alpine meadow and cross the Dudh River. On the way, you can get dramatic views of Mount Manaslu, Lamjung, Himlung, and Cheo. Continuing further through rhododendron forests and farm fields you will get to Gho. You will trek further to Dharapani for staying overnight.

Dharapani to Kathmandu 9/10 drive
Today you will take a Jeep drive to Kathmandu. Along the way, you can see fascinating hilly areas and settlements.
