Bhutanese way of wedding is much more than an exchange of vows and rings. It includes a number of religious rites performed by Buddhist monks and lamas. The program begins with receiving couples in traditional ceremony, people lined up in procession and blowing horns etc. During the process of religious rites, couple can receive blessing from lama for strong commitments, love and everlasting marriage. After ceremony, couples will be wished with offering of khadaar (white scarf signifying purity) by the well wishers and ends up with variety of cultural programs and serving the grand lunch after that.
Arrival in Paro to Thimphu / ALT-2400m
Flying on the wings of the Dragon to Bhutan is going to be fascinating with the views of first sight upon the Bhutan Himalayas. On your arrival in Paro International Airport, you will complete the Immigration formalities and exit through the only arrival gate where TinyBhutan dedicated team would be waiting outside holding placard to receive you. We welcome with Khadaar (white scarf signifying purity) and proceed to Thimphu which would take about an hour and half. The entire stretch of drive is scenic and picturesque as you pass by some of the beautiful village of Bondey, Shaba, Isina etc until you enter the welcome gate in Thimphu.
• Tachog Lhakhang: En-route to Thimphu, stopover for a brief walk towards Tachok Lhakhang crossing over Chakzam an iron Bridge or one can choose to stay back at the roadside and equally enjoy the monastery’s picturesque view.
• Chuzomsa: the confluence, meeting of two rivers each coming from Thimphu and Paro finally meet at Chuzomsa and flow further towards Phuentsholing. Enjoy the lovely portrait of our King and the queen placed at Chuzomsa, signifying a welcome to all our guests visiting Bhutan.
• Explore Thimphu City: walking through the city gives immense joy and understanding of modern city. It would give you a good option for imported goods, local souvenir and other unique Bhutanese handicrafts. Thimphu offers a mixed style of personalities. Taking the street walk in Thimphu, the only city in the world without the traffic lights gives you a sense of uniqueness from rest of the world.
• Candle light dinner with complimentary cake and local wine will be organized and one of the TinyBhutan members will come to welcome and join you for the dinner. Overnight in Thimphu.

Traditional Marriage Ceremony
Bhutanese wedding ceremony include many religious rites performed by Buddhist monks and lama. The religious rites that include Lhabsang, offering of butter lams, Thrisel, Tsepamey Choko, Dhar Naynga, mask dances and folk songs and dances. The main wedding ceremony will be performed at the main grand hall of the hotel. The day starts with delicious Bhutanese breakfast and after that, bride and groom will be taken to alter room with chipdrel or procession ceremony, followed by a marriage ceremony, receive blessings, offering of well wish Khadaar ( White scarf) followed by lunch. After lunch, beautiful cultural programs of mask dances, folk songs and many more will be performed. Over-night in Thimphu.

Thimphu to Paro /ALT 2200m / 1.5 hrs drive
As we proceed to Paro, we will retrace the journey crossing Chuzomsa and further to Paro. The entire stretch of drive will refresh your mind and give you second chance to enjoy smooth and most scenic drive to Paro.
• Taktsang (Tiger’s nest Temple): A short adventurous hike to Taktsang is the most rewarding and fulfilling visits of the entire tour. It is the heartland of locals for the pilgrimage sight in Bhutan. The temple, popularly known as the “Tiger’s nest” is perched on the side of the cliff at a height of 900m above the Paro valley. It is the must visit sight of the entire tour. The uphill hike takes about 3 to 4 hours which may seem challenging in the beginning, but it is rewarding once you reach to the real sight. Lunch will be served at cafeteria restaurant located up on the mountain. After having explored, you will be back to Paro for the following visits.
• Visit Kitchu Lhakhang to pray for a long togetherness by lighting butter lamp and turning the beautiful Wheel of dharma. Kitchu temple is considered as sacred jewel of Bhutan and was established by the Buddhist King Songstsen Gampo of Tibet to overcome the giant ogress that lay across Tibet and Himalayas preventing the spread of Buddhism. The King is believed to have built temple at the left foot of enormous ogress. Kitchu Lhakhang was among 12 temples in Bhutan out of 108 temples said to have been constructed over single night. You can offer butter lamp over there.
• Hot stone bath: Hot stone bath is very unique to Bhutan and offers great medicinal
Values. In most cases, the bathtub is made of wood placed on a ground level in a quite hut for privacy. Couple can get into one bathtub to soak. Enjoy the great ancient techniques of curing body ache, joint pain and harness many other values. This is upon additional cost and check with guide/driver. Over-night in Paro.
