Rishop (also spelled Rishyap) is a small, peaceful hamlet perched at about 2,600 meters above sea level. It’s popular for its serene ambiance, pine forests, and panoramic views of Himalayan ranges. A walk or drive from Lava brings you to this offbeat paradise. Darjeeling, known as the "Queen of the Hills", is a famous tourist town with colonial charm, tea gardens, and the historic Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Attractions include Tiger Hill, Batasia Loop, and the vibrant local markets.

Day 1

NJP TO RISHOP

Wake up to birdsong and mountain views, Breakfast at stay
Check-out and drive towards Rishop (Approx. 15 km / 1-1.5 hrs, hilly terrain) Via Changey falls , Lava Monestry, Rishop view point, Lolegaon budho park, Rishop pine forest
Check-in at homestay in Rishop and Lunch at stay
Afternoon leisure: relax in the pine forest, enjoy panoramic Himalayan views and Golden hour photography / peaceful walk
Overnight stay in Rishop

Day 2

RISHOP TO KOLAKHAM

Pick-up from NJP Railway Station in the morning,Scenic drive via Kalimpong – Lava – Kolakham (Approx. 115 km / 5-6 hours),sightseeing cover of Chel khola ,Upper fagu, Papor kheti, Gorubathan Kolakham Village. Check-in to homestay in Kolakham, Lunch at Homestay.
Evening at leisure: nature walk, explore village life, and enjoy sunset views of Kanchenjunga (weather permitting)
Bonfire (optional) and home-style dinner

KOLAKHAM TO DARJEELING

Cancellation & Refund Policy :

If cancellations are made 30 days before the date of travel, then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel, then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel, then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
