Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New jalpaiguri (NJP) to Gangtok Transfer

  As you arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), our representative will meet and greet you. Bagdogra to Gangtok taxis are provided by Yes Tourism India . The transfer to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim, usually takes 5-6 Hours. On arrival in Gangtok check into your pre booked hotel. Have your dinner and retire to your room to have a sound sleep.
  Transfer from New Jalpaiguri Station/ Bagdogra To Gangtok - 125 km, approximately 5 hours

• Day 2 : Tsongmo Lake and Baba Mandir Visit

  On the second day of your 8-night Gangtok Lachung Lachen Darjeeling trip, complete your sumptuous breakfast at your Gangtok hotel. Start your day trip in Gangtok with an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.), which are 55 km one way from Gangtok city. Baba Harbhajan Singh temple, which has its own history related to martyr Major Harbhajan Singh. This day trip will rejuvenate you and enchant with the natural beauty of North East. Overnight stay at your pre-booked Gangtok hotel. (In case of a land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed, Yes Tourism India will provide alternate gangtok Local sightseeing.)

• Day 3 : Gangtok to Lachen

  Welcome to the third day of your Sikkim tour package where you will visit North Sikkim for 2Night and 3 Days.
  Complete your breakfast and our taxi from Gangtok to Lachen will pick you up after all necessary permits. This North Sikkim trip is surely to make you spellbound by the natural beauty. The second destination on your tour is Lachen whcih is around 7 hrs drive from Gangtok city. We would stop by the popular sightseeings of Singhik View Point, seven sister falls and naga falls. Lachen is a small peaceful village with a mere population. Check into your Lachen Hotel and evening you are free to stroll and visit the Lepcha Village and explore the trails.
  Distance from Gangtok to Lachung - 120 km, approximately 7-8 hours

• Day 4 : Gurudongma Lake and Transfer to Lachung

  On your forth day of your Sikkim trip with Yes Tourism India start early at 4 am to visit the Gurudongma Lake. This trip runs through the Kanchenjunga National park, to Gurudongmar Lake. Gurudongmar Lake is one of the top 5 highest lake in India and is considered to be very sacred by the Sikkimise as well as from the Sikkhism community. The scenic Gurudongmar Lake with prayer flags all around will welcome you with beautiful sights of the hills and the glacial waters. The best time to visit this place is during the summers, during the months of March to June and During the Period of October to March. The temperature remains pleasant during summer time. During winter, this valley is mostly frozen. After visit return to Lachen and post lunch transfer to Lachung. Overnight dinner and sleep off the night.

• Day 5 : Yumthang Valley visit and Gangtok Transfer

  Witness a truly magical experience at the enchanting Yumthang Valley on the third day of your North Sikkim Trip. Yumthang Valley is the top 5 Destination in Sikkim and is a must visit. After you complete your breakfast our taxi would be ready to take you for the lovely day. Yumthang valley at a height of 12,000 ft is near the river Lachung Chu surrounded by mountains. It is an idle place for the mountain floors to bloom suring the sring. Yumthang valley is also known as the valley of the flowers. During the winter season the valley is covered with huge snow with the backdrop of the snow clad mountains. After a truly enthralling experience on your Gangtok Lachen Lachung tour we return back to the Gangtok, the capital city. On reaching Gangtok check into your hotel, complete your dinner and sleep the night away.

• Day 6 : Gangtok Local sightseeing

  Ready yourself for a full day of Gangtok sightseeing tour covering beautiful waterfalls, view-points and monasteries here!
  After a lovely breakfast at your hotel, head out for a full day Gangtok town tour on your Gangtok Cab providedb by Yes Tourism India. Gangtok sightseeing includes visit to Tashi view-point, Bakthang Waterfalls, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Ganesh Tok, Enchey Monastry, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, Flower Show, Institute of Tibetology, Ropeway and Banjhakri Falls. After sightseeing, return back to the hotel, have a delicious dinner and sleep off the night.
  Note You can also ask your Gangtok Taxi Driver to drop you at Gangtok MG Marg. You can enjoy some time and go for Suvenior shopping.

• Day 7 : Gangtok to Darjeeling Transfer

  Have a filling breakfast and proceed, proceed to Darjeeling the last city on your tour on our Yes Tourism India Tax. The road to Darjeeling leads through smalls towns as the River Teesta flows along with you. Upon your arrival at your hotel in Darjeeling, complete your quick check in formalities and head to your room. You can go for a short walk to Mall Road. End this action packed day of your Sikkim vacation at Darjeeling with some refreshing sleep.

  Wake up early and head to Tiger Hill to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Kanchenjunga range, the world's third highest mountain. Visit the Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Darjeeling. Explore the Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Return to your hotel for a wholesome breakfast and then proceed to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, home to rare Himalayan species and No 1 Zoo in India. Enjoy a romantic ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train), immersing yourselves in the charm of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later Explore the Japaneese temple and Ropeway over the Rangeet Tea Garden. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
