On your arrival to the NJP railway station, Tenzong Norway bus station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Pakyong Airport, you will be received warmly by Yes Tourism India and transferred to your hotel in Gangtok. This pleasant drive will take you through hilly terrains until you reach the capital city of Sikkim.
Once you arrive at this immaculate town, check in at the hotel. You can either relax at the hotel and enjoy the view of the valley or head for a tour around the MG Marg of Gangtok where you can collect souvenirs. The day is at leisure and at your will to explore. On the second day of your 9 Night, 10 day Sikkim Darjeeling with North Sikkim tour package, Start your day trip at Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.), which are 55 km one way from Gangtok city. Tsongmo Lake is a picture-perfect and spend some quiet moments at its banks. It is s the most visited tourist attraction in Sikkim. Baba Harbhajan Singh temple, which has its own history related to martyr Major Harbhajan Singh. Recently, Indian army has built at 12 ft long Shiva temple on a foot hill of Nammangcho hill . The Shiva temple is put at the height of 13000 ft from sea level. It’s is regarded as the highest located Shiva idol in the world. Overnight stay at your pre-booked Gangtok hotel. (In case of a land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed, we will provide alternate sightseeing.)

On your fourth day of your Sikkim trip with Yes Tourism India start early at 4 am to visit the Gurudongma Lake. This trip runs through the Kanchenjunga National park, to Gurudongmar Lake. Gurudongmar Lake is one of the top 5 highest lake in India and is considered to be very sacred by the Sikkimise as well as from the Sikkhism community. The scenic Gurudongmar Lake with prayer flags all around will welcome you with beautiful sights of the hills and the glacial waters. The best time to visit this place is during the summers, during the months of March to June and During the Period of October to March. The temperature remains pleasant during summer time. During winter, this valley is mostly frozen. After visit return to Lachen and post lunch transfer to Lachung. Overnight dinner and sleep off the night. (Optional) You can go to Kala Pathar which is a new attraction, on paying subsequent charges.

After you complete your breakfast our taxi would be ready to take you for the lovely day. Yumthang valley at a height of 12,000 ft is near the river Lachung Chu surrounded by mountains. It is an idle place for the mountain floors to bloom suring the sring. Yumthang valley is also known as the valley of the flowers. During the winter season the valley is covered with huge snow with the backdrop of the snow clad mountains. It is bounded by attractive flora such as primula, poppy and rhododendron. On the way stop at Ravangla where you can visit the famous Buddha Park. A 130 – foot high statue of Lord Buddha is erected at the Park and fenced in by lush eco gardens. Enjoy some local food at the nearby restaurant and click some pictures. Enjoy the last Darjeeling city tour on the eighth day of your family holiday.
Wake up early in the morning to catch a glimpse of a spectacular Sun Rise at Tiger Hill from where you can get a sparkling view of Mt Kanchendzonga,changing its colour with each passing minutes.. After watching this natural spectacle, visit the 135-year-old Ghoom Monastery and the famous Batasia Loop War Memorial. Return back to the hotel. As you reach hotel, refuel yourself with an energising breakfast and then relax for a while.
Later we start your Darjeeling Sightseeing in our Darjeeling local taxi and visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure.
