Panchachuli Base Camp Trek

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kathgodam / Pithoragarh

  Drive approximately 271 km to Dharchula via Almora. En route we will enjoy the scenic beauty of terraced fields, villages and snow clad Himalayan mountains At distant horizon we can still see Nanda Devi sometime en route and other peaks. Pithoragarh is a beautiful town with the nice view of panchachuli range. On arrival check in to the hotel and market visit in the evening

• Day 2 : Pithoragarh / Urthing

  In the morning we will take a 6 hrs. drive to Urthing via Dharchula, some years back our trekking point was Village Dar but now we have motor road upto urthing so we will directly proceed to Urthing . On arrival at Urthing set out a camp for dinner and overnight stay in the tents.

• Day 3 : Urthing / Nagling

  After B/Fast we start our trek to Nagling , today trek is easy with nice view of mountais and river. Nagling is a small village with nice camp area. Dinner and overnight in tents.

• Day 4 : Nagling / Panchachuli Base Camp

  In the morning after breakfast we will trek up to Base Camp,. The trek is full of adventures. On arrival set out camp for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Panchachuli Base Camp – Excursion

  In the morning we will trek up to View Point, from this point we can see view of the PanchChuli peaks from here is just magnificent. You can find a huge meadow here. One can see the magnificent view of Panch Chuli glacier with the backdrop of the Panch Chuli peaks and all day we explore the area of Panchaculi base Camp.

• Day 6 : Panchachuli Bc / Nagling

  Today we trek back to Nagling which is very easy path , From Base Camp to Nagling is a gradual descent and the days walk takes around 5 hours. after reaching Nagling explore the village. Dinner and overnight stay in tents

• Day 7 : Nagling / Urthing / Dharchula

  After breakfast trek down to Urthing . The trek is easy to downwards. It takes 4 hrs. to reach Urthing. In urthing we will have our jeep and drive to Dharchula. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

• Day 8 : Dharchula / Almora

  Today 7 hrs. drive to Almora. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

• Day 9 : Almora - Departure
