if you are looking at standing on top of a mountain and feel on top of the world, Mt. Patalsu has got to be one great option and the beauty of it is that it can be easily done in 3 days by anybody in reasonable fitness levels. A relatively easy trekking peak that reaches up to 4,220m (13,845ft), the Patalsu Peak boasts of scenic beauty and the charm of being on a summit. It is located in the Solang Valley and is much sought after by amateur climbers. the best time to do it just after winters in March-April when it is totally snowbound and one incredible once in a lifetime experience.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Report At Solang By 10 Am And Trek To Shagadugh

All participants should assemble at Manali chowk by 10 am. We’ll then drive to Solang. After debrief, we’ll commence the trek to Shagadugh, passig through pine and oak forests. This is an easy trail of about 2-3 hours. Hot lunch and refreshments will be served once we reach our camp. Refreshments, brunch, dinner and stay in tents.

Day 2

Shagadugh – Patalsu Peak – Shagadugh

Today is the big day when we get to the top of the mountain. We need to sart early today to get to the top of the mesmerising Patalsu Peak (4,220m). Trek through the lush and evergreen forests and the winding and uneven terrains to reach the top. Arriving at Patalsu summit, we have 360 panoramic views of the Shitidhar, Friendship and Manali peaks. All meals, refreshments and stay in tents

Day 3

Shagadugh To Solang And Drive From Solang Nulla To Manali

Today, after breakfast, we trek back to Solang to mark the end of the trek. Transport will be arranged to drop participants to Manali. The trip comes to an end and we part ways here to meet for our next adventure.

Any expenses that arise due to change in itinerary and increase in no. of days because of natural forces like landslides, weather, roadblocks, flight cancellations, sickness etc.
Cost of any optional activity we offer, like paragliding, angling, rafting etc.
