Day 1 : Arrive Chandigarh transfer to Shimla (120 kms)
Arrival at Chandigarh airport/Railway station and be greeted by our Thomas Cook representative. Transfer to Shimla by surface. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening free to stroll in the famous The Mall & The Ridge. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 : Shimla to Sarahan - into the Western Himalayas (175 kms)
Travel by surface from Shimla to Sarahan, the gateway to Kinnaur valley, enroute crossing the famous hill resorts of Kufri & Narkanda. Enroute also visit Rampur and view Padam Palace. Continue the magnificent drive along the Sutlej River. Reach Jeori to climb upto Sarahan. On arrival, check in at hotel. Evening visit the famous Bhimakali temple at Sarahan. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : A drive to remember - Sarahan to Kalpa (107 kms)
After breakfast travel by surface from Sarahan to Kalpa. The route is along the Sutlej river. Kalpa is a beautiful village located in the backdrop of Kinner Kailash Mountain range. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Roghi village which has traditionally built Kinnauri houses. Evening free to walk around the Kalpa village. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 : Drive from Kalpa to Sangla - the Unconventional Beauty (51 kms)
After breakfast travel to Sangla which has earned distinction of one of the most beautiful valleys in Himachal. At Sangla visit Kamru village and make a small walk to visit Kamru Fort which has a temple dedicated to Kamaksha Devi. Later check in at camp. Rest of day is free to relax and enjoy the pristine beauty. Overnight at camp.
Day 5 : In Sangla - excursion to Chitkul – the last village on IndoTibet Border
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic excursion visiting the picturesque village of Chitkul. Chitkul is the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border. The Indian road ends here. During winters, the place mostly remains covered with the snow and the inhabitants move to lower regions of Himachal. Potatoes grown at Chittkul are one of the best in the world and are very costly. Drive back to Sangla. Rest of day free to relax or to walk down to the nearby Batseri village. Overnight at the camp.
Day 6 : Sangla to Shimla (237 kms)
Finally towards the end of this mesmerizing journey, get transfered by surface from Sangla to Shimla. Rest of the day to rest and relax. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 : Shimla to Kalka (90 kms/ 3 hrs ) or Chandigarh (120 kms/ 4 hrs)
In time transfer to Kalka / Chandigarh railway station/ airport drop as per the further connection. The tour ends with mesmerizing memories.

This Tour is to Trans Himalayan regions and due to unforeseen circumstances like rain, landslides etc, the itinerary may have to be changed at last minute. In case there are any last minute changes due to operational problems, there are no refunds or compensation associated with it.

However, if the costs go up due to changed itinerary the guests may have to pay supplement costs for changed itinerary and ground arrangements.
It is in the nature of a holiday of this kind (High Altitude Travel or Adventure Tour) to be flexible. The day to day agenda and ultimate goal of the tour is taken as an aim and not as a contractual obligation. We shall not be responsible for the delays or alterations in the program or expenses incurred due to rain, landslides, snow, flood, conflict, internal flight delay or cancellations, strikes, sickness, weather, war, vehicle problems, political closures and disputes. Any alterations in programmes and any extra expenses thus incurred due to any reason beyond our control has to be settled directly if such charges come up to make necessary amendments and arrangements for a safe passage. Failing direct settlement of expenses, the company in operation would have to furnish us a guarantee of payment in writing and make payments before the tour services terminates.
To reduce the risk of altitude sickness you should: drink enough liquids (check your urine periodically to make sure it is pale in color, dark yellow urine indicates that you are getting dehydrated), eat light (low fat food high in carbohydrates), and rest (take it easy and relax). Alcoholic drinks may not help during the acclimatization process.
We advise that the Indian nationals carry some identity proof along with him/ her during his/ her tour to Ladakh regions like driving license or voter I card or passport. This at time may be required to show at Army check posts while traveling from one place to other (in rare cases Army check posts may ask for an identity proof). Foreign nationals should also have all travel documents in original.
The hotel category mentioned above only indicates that our rates have been based on usage of these hotels. It is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey the confirmations to you on receipt of your acceptance. However in the event of any of the above mentioned hotels not becoming available at the time of initiating the reservations, we shall book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.
