Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Port Blair

  Arrival at Port Blair in the morning by flight/ship & transfer to your hotel. Then proceed to visit the famous Cellular Jail Closed on Monday & National Holiday followed by the Light & Sound show – in which the saga of freedom struggle, brought alive in the show. Drop back at the Hotel. Night stay at Port Blair Hotel. 
   Note: *Incase Light and Sound show at Cellular Jail is called-off due to weather and maintenance conditions, efforts will be made to arrange for alternate sightseeing and also to arrange for the show at some other time during the itinerary, only if time permits.

• Day 2 : North Bay and Ross Island Excursion.

  Morning breakfast, tour to full- day excursion to North Bay and Ross Island. Experience the enthralling under water marine life, coral reef, beautiful ornamental fish etc, amidst a vast stretch of tropical forests, silver sand and blue waters. live the breathtaking bygone era British Empire at the former administrative island. Return back from the Island. Recollect and relax. Night stay at the Hotel.
   Note : This Island is Closed on Wednesday , itinerary will be shuffled if same trip falls on Wednesday.

• Day 3 : Port Blair – Havelock Island (57 km / 2 ½ hrs)

  This morning check out from the hotel & transfer to the Port Blair Jetty to take a ferry to Havelock Island. On arrival check-in to hotel. Enjoy the afternoon at the World Famous and Asia’s best beach “Radha Nagar Beach” (Beach number 7). Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Havelock.

• Day 4 : Excursion to Elephant Beach (Optional Tour )

  After breakfast, proceed to Elephant Beach for adventurous snorkelling experience. Elephant Beach is located near the eastern coast of Havelock Island. It is approachable by Dunghi (small wooden carved fishing motor boat). Snorkelling is leisure water sports in which a person swims on the surface of water wearing the face mask and view in the underwater corals."

• Day 5 : Havelock Island - Port Blair (57 km / 2 ½ hrs)

  After Breakfast check out from the hotel free for individual activities and the Evening transfer to the Havelock jetty to board the ferry for your onward journey to Port Blair. Overnight stay at Port Blair.

• Day 6 : Jolly Bouy Excursion

  Morning breakfast, start off to a full day excursion to Jolly Bouy/Red Skin Island in Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. Enjoy the underwater marine life. Return back and overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 7 : Departure

  Drop to Airport.

Andaman Islands is a upcoming tourist destination close to nature but with a underdeveloped and basic infrastructure with the basic facilities available. As a part of promoting Andaman Islands we can provide the clients the best services available regarding hotels, transfers and excursions. There is no night life (discotheques, pubs and cinemas)in Andaman Islands like other cities or towns. There is early morning sunrise(04:45 Hrs.) and early sunset (17:00 Hrs.) therefore majority of the sight seeing places are closed between 15:00 Hrs. to 17:00 Hrs. except light and sound show at Cellular Jail. Monday is a weekly holiday for all sight seeing places included in the City Tour.

WEATHER PATTERN

June - August is the monsoon season here. However, the trend of the monsoon here is that it does not normally rain continuously at a stretch for very long. Temperatures of around 28 degrees Celsius & an average min. temperature of around 25 degrees Celsius. There are often clear skies & bright sunlight throughout the day. In fact, Oct to May is the main tourist season over here, although you may still get a few rainy days throughout the year.

Accommodation in Port Blair is generally done in an AC Double-Bedded Room in either a 4 star, 3 Star or a 2 star category hotel  . Please note that Port Blair being a small town these hotels do not necessarily match up to the service standards and room quality as in other cities or towns. As we do not manage and run these hotels, we have no control over guest experiences in these properties beyond providing a confirmed reservation. All the hotels at Port Blair and Havelock provide extra mattres for extra person. As per our past clients feedback with the hotels stayed we have collections of hotels (4 star for Deluxe/3 star for standard/2 star for economy packages) which are the best hotels available in the category. In Port Blair Fortune Resort Bay Island, Sinclairs Bay View, Hotel Sentinel and Rose Valley Resort have swimming pools in the complex. At Havelock all the resorts are beach side and not sea facing without swimming pools. Some resorts have some rooms sea facing view from the windows but not from the lobby that cannot be considered as a sea facing rooms as the website of some of the hotels says.

All the hotels at Port Blair have check in check out time of 08:00 Hrs. in the morning . At Havelock the check in time of the hotel is 12:00 Hrs. and check out time 09:00 Hrs. in the morning whereas the return ferries from Havelock is in the afternoon at 16:00 Hrs. Early check in or late check out would totally depend on the management of the respective hotel . The clients can check out the hotel by 09:00 Hrs. keep the luggage at the cloak room or reception at the hotel , relax in the beach as each hotel/resort at Havelock Island has a small beach with in the walking distance or sight seeing can be arranged on direct payment basis.

All the island visit excursions are in a general ferry and the timings for going and returning depends on the discretion of the captain of the boat. Subject to weather conditions the boat may return from particular island early or late. As the infrastructure is weak therefore most of the beaches in the islands does not have proper changing room and toilets.

Kindly note that the ferry timings can be changed by the government at short notice due to which you may not be able to board the ferry if it clashes with your flight timings. Though it is our sincerest efforts to get any such information in advance and inform the same to you, we request your co operation and understanding since we have no control over the same. The management will not be held liable for any losses caused due to the change in these timings. As of now the ferry timings are as below:

Kindly also note that due to the ferry timing, while returning from Havelock  it is mandatory that you will need to spend one night in Port Blair to be able to board your flight  the next day.
