In the Pithoragarh District in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, Rama Kund is a section of Darma Valley, which is situated on the Sino-Indian border.

The Kumaon Division in eastern Uttarakhand is where this valley is situated. The Darma River carves up the Darma or Darma Ganga valley. The valley is surrounded by the Lassar Yangti valley to the west and the Kuthi Yangti valley to the east.

Rama comes from the valley's oldest rest area, which was built specifically for soldiers and shepherds. Before Goe Village, there is a lovely location called Ramkund that only a select few people and the local shepherds are aware of. Ramakund is located at a height of 14500 feet above sea level, about 8 kilometres from Rama.

From Rama Kund Trekking and Camping, one may have a great view of the mountains in Nepal as well as the peaks of the Darma valley.
