Near the Sangaiwe Gate, Tarangire Simba Lodge borders the park and a Wildlife Management Area. Spacious canvas safari tents on raised platforms with wooden floors, en-suite bathrooms and private verandas overlook the bush. A tree-top viewing platform in a stately acacia tree offers wildlife watching and star gazing after dark.

Located next to the Ngorongoro Forest, approximately 4 kilometres from the Conservation Area entrance. Individual cottages with canvas walls, hand-made African hardwood furniture and private decks. High on a hill with endless vistas of the Serengeti plains, the lodge offers panoramic views from every tented rondavel. Ngorongoro Crater
Descend 600 metres into the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game drives. The crater holds the densest concentration of wildlife in Africa — all of the Big Five including the continent's last truly wild black rhino, alongside lion prides, elephant bulls and flamingo flocks on Lake Magadi. Picnic lunch at the crater picnic site.
