Package Overview

From Nairobi to Samburu two nights then Lake Nakuru one night then Maasai Mara two nights then back to Nairobi.
A safari with a blend of woodland and grassland savannah, mountainous areas and the Rift Valley plains. This safari begins in Nairobi and traverses around the highlands of Mt. Kenya region before arriving to the semi-arid shrubs and woodland savannah of Samburu. This safari culminates in the popular Maasai Mara National Reserve. It guarantees the spotting of the coveted BIG FIVE animals in the Kenyan jungle.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

  Leaving from Nairobi in a safari tour van or jeep at 6.30am for a 389km drive to Samburu National Reserve, arriving at the hotel for
  lunch. Afternoon game drive from 4.00pm to 6.30pm, at 6.30pm return to hotel for dinner.

• Day 2 : Samburu National Reserve

  Leave from the hotel at 6.00am for an early morning game-drive, returning back to the hotel at 9.30am for breakfast and rest. Afternoon game-drive from 4.00pm to 6.30pm. returning to the hotel for dinner.

• Day 3 : Samburu, Thompson's Falls, Equator Viewpoint and Lake Nakuru.

  Leave Samburu National Reserve at 6.30am for approximately 216kms to Lake Nakuru National
  Park with a stop-over at the Equator crossing point and later Thompsons Falls in Nyahururu and arriving in Lake Nakuru for lunch.
  Afternoon game drive from 4.00pm to 6.30pm, at 6.30pm return to hotel for dinner.

• Day 4 : Lake Nakuru, Narok town, Maasai Mara

  Leave Lake Nakuru National Park at 7.30am for approximately 172kms to Masai Mara National
  Reserve arriving for lunch. Afternoon game drive from 4.00pm to 6.30pm, at 6.30pm return to hotel for
  dinner.

• Day 5 : Maasai Mara National Reserve

  Leave the hotel after breakfast at 7.30am for a FULL-DAY game drive within the expansive Masai
  Mara reserve. You will have picnic lunch in the savanna and arrive back to the hotel in the evening for
  dinner. With this you are guaranteed spotting as many animals as possible as well as visit the famous Mara River where we have the spectacular wildebeests' migrations annually. You can also organize with your guide if you would like to visit the Masai village on that day.

• Day 6 : Maasai Mara to Nairobi

  Leave Masai Mara after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi for approximately 270kms to be
  dropped at the point of preference whether at the hotel or the airport.
