Scenery of Kashmir Package

As you arrive at Srinagar, the Capital City of Jammu and Kashmir, you are pleased by its ubiquitous lakes, outlined with Shikaras and the ever-blossoming Mughal Gardens. You are transferred to your Hotel/ Houseboat where you spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can also go for a Shikara Ride to Nehru Park in the evening, Overnight stay is arranged in your Hotel/Houseboat.

On Day 2, an excursion is organized to the beautiful Mughal gardens and, later, the Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh near the eastern side of the Dal Lake. Stay overnight in your Deluxe House Boat.

On the morning of Day 3, proceed to a full day excursion to Gulmarg, rightly aliased as the Meadow of Flowers ( 56 kms /2 hrs). This lovely town is situated at an altitude of 2730 meters and you have a full day to roam about the lush green meadows of flowers against the backdrop of snow capped mountains. Later, enjoy pony ride or a ride in a Gondola (rope way) to Khillanmarg (at extra cost). Return to Srinagar the same evening and stay overnight in the Houseboat.

Pahalgam (94 kms/2.5 hrs) or the "Valley of Shepherds" awaits you on Day 4 of your Trip. Enroute, a small stop is taken at the saffron fields. Next on the day's itinerary are the Avantipura Ruins & Anantnag Sulpher Springs. Pahalgam is beautiful little Village, located on the banks of Lidder River. By evening, you return by road to Srinagar where your overnight stay is arranged.

Post a scrumptious breakfast, you are transferred back to your airport for your flight back home.
