Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Addis Ababa

  Morning: Arrival at the airport and transfer to hotel for check-in Afternoon: Addis Ababa city tour -National Museum, Ethnographic Museum, Trinity Cathedral, Merkato. Overnight at Addis Ababa.

• Day 2 : Gondar

  Drive to Bole airport for departure Upon arrival in Gondar transfer to the hotel for check-in. Morning: visit the castles of Gondar, bathing palace of Emperor Fasilidas Afternoon: visit to Debre Berhan Selassie (Light of Trinity) church Overnight stay in Gondar.

• Day 3 : Sanka Ber

  Morning: drive to Debark. Afternoon: set off trekking for 3-4 hours Overnight at Sanka-Ber Camping site.

  Treking to Geech. Overnight at Geech campsite.

• Day 5 : Geech-Imet Gogo-Geech

  Trekking to Imet Gogo. Overnight at Geech campsite.

• Day 6 : Chenek

  8-9 hours trekking to Enatye. Finally descend to Cehenek. Overnights at Chenek camping site.

• Day 7 : Ambiquo

  Trekking to Ambiquo through Buhait Mountain (the 2nd highest peak mountain). Overnight at Ambiquo camping site.

• Day 8 : Ambiquo-Ras Dashen-Ambiquo

  Trekking to Ras-Dashen( up to 8 hours of trekking) Overnight at Ambiquo camping site.

  Morning:Trek from Ambiquo to Sona. Afternoon: walk along the banks of river Mekarebia. Overnight at Sona campsite.

  Descend to from Sona to Mekarebia. Overnight at Mekarebia.

• Day 11 : Mulit

  Descend further from Mekarebia to Mulit. Overnight at Mulit Campsite.

• Day 12 : Adi-Arkai

  Trek from Mulit to Adi-Arkai Drive from Adi-Arkai to Bahir Dar. Overnight in Bahir Dar.

  Morning: boat trip on lake Tana to visit the monastery of Ura-Kidane Mehret. Afternoon: at leisure Overnight in Bahir Dar.

  Morning: transfer to Airport for departure to Addis. Up on arrival at Bole transfer to hotel to check-in for day use. Afternoon: at leisure Dinner: Ethiopian traditional restaurant Evening: transfer to the airport for departure.
