Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Siliguri/ Bagdogra to Pelling (145 Km / approx 5.5 hrs)

Welcome to Sikkim Splendor Tour’. On arrival at the Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station (own cost), you will be transferred to Pelling.
Day 2

Pelling sightseeing

Pemayangtse Monastery

Today you will proceed to full day sight seeing to Rimbi False, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kanchandzonga False, Khecheopalri Lake, Pemayangtse monastery etc.
Day 3

Pelling to Gangtok (124 km / 4.5 hrs.)

Today you will proceed on a picturesque drive to Gangtok. En route visit Ravangla a small township & the district head quarter of South Sikkim. Check into your hotel in Gangtok . The rest of the afternoon is free
Day 4

Gangtok City Tour

Rumtek Monastery Ganesh Tok

Proceed on a city tour visiting Ganesh Tok, tashi view point, Do Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Directirate of Handicrafts & Handlooms having numerous collection of Tibetian Thankss & artifacts, Enchy Monastery, Rumtek Monastery/ Ban-Jakri Falls (Any one) and the marvelous collection of orchids in the Flower Exhibition Centre.
Day 5

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Early in the morning (7.30 am) drive for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir. Enjoy yak ride around the lake (own cost). Lunch in hotel. Evening free for shopping in famous MG Road/ Lal Market in Gangtok.
Day 6

North Sikkim - Gangtok to Lachen (120 kms./6 hrs.)

After breakfast drive from Gangtok to Lachen (9,000 ft.). Enroute visit Tashi View Point, Kabi Lungchok, Phodong, Namok, mangan, Singhik, Chungthang, Lachung Valley. Reach Lachung in the afternoon.

Day 7

North Sikkim - Excursion Gurudongmar. Lachen to Lachung

After breakfast excursion to Chopta Valley (14,500 ft.) & Gurudongmar Lake (18,000 ft.). Gurudongmar Lake offers magnificent view of Mount Siniolchu & Kanchandzonga. Back to Lachen for lunch & transfer to Lachen (50 km).

Day 8

North Sikkim - Excurtion to Yumthang Valley (24 kms./2 hrs.)

After breakfast excursion to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft.). Rhododendrons, Orchids & varieties of flora & fauna are found during spring in the month of April & May. Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks. On the way back visit Sulpher Hot Spring, having medicinal values.

Day 9

orth Sikkim - Lachung to Gangtok (125 km./ 5 hrs)

After breakfast transfer from Lachung to Gangtok. Enroute magnificent views high mountains of North Sikkim & water falls. Drop at your respective hotel in Gangtok. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 10

Gangtok to NJP/IXB (135 km. / 4 hrs.)

Drive back to Bagdogra Airport/ New Jalpaiguri railway station for your return journey. ‘Sikkim Splendor Tour’ ends.
