Madurai is the third largest city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. According to one theory, "Meenakshi" is a Sanskrit-language term meaning "fish-eyed", derived from the words mina ("fish") and akshi ("eyes").
Rameshwaram - It is said the Hindu god Rama built a bridge from here across the sea to Lanka to rescue his wife Sita from her abductor Ravana. The Ramanathaswamy Temple, dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, is at the centre of the town and is closely associated with Rama. The temple and the town are considered a holy pilgrimage site for Shaivas and Vaishnavas.
Kanyakumari is a City in Kanyakumari district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. The name comes from the Devi Kanya Kumari Temple in the region, in Tamil it is pronounced as 'Kan-niya-kumari'. It is the southernmost tip of peninsular India, and is surrounded on three sides by the Laccadive Sea.

Rameshwaram to Kanyakumari
Visit the famous Ramanathaswamy temple, Ramar padam, five faced Hanuman temple, Kothandaraswamy temple. Check out from the hotel (approx 11 hrs. to 12 hrs.) then proceed to sightseeing Dhanuskodi beach. Evening drop at Railway station to board train no, 22621 Rameswaram Kanyakumari express at 20.50 hrs

Arrival Kanyakumari at 04.10 hrs. Check into hotel. Visit Kumari Amman Temple, Three Seas Mingle Point, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Mandapam (Please note driver will drop all tourists near to Kumari Amman Temple and from there tourists shall visit all places on their own, all the places are walkable from that point). Return to hotel on your own as per your convenience.
Meet at hotel lobby at 16:30 hrs. Visit sun set point and wax museum. Drop at hotel / market for shopping. Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.
