After breakfast proceed from Katra to Srinagar 10 to 12 hours journey. Srinagar is the capital of the state Jammu and Kashmir. Situated at 5,200 ft. above sea level and set amidst delightful surroundings, it is, in many respects, one of the finest pleasure resorts of the world. Beautiful lakes and gardens also surround it. City sightseeing of Srinagar includes a drive through narrow lanes and bazaars, visiting Jamia Masjid, Shah Hamdan Mosque (700 years old), and drive past Mughal fort and Hari Parbat. Only few miles from the city are the famous Mughal Gardens of Chasma Shahi or "the Royal Springs", Nishat Bagh or "the Garden of Pleasure" and Shalimar Garden or the "Abode of Love". Framed against the background of the hills and commanding a fine view of the Lake, the gardens are a feast of color from spring to autumn. On the Dal Lake the Naseem Bagh "Garden of Breeze" with its stately Chinar Trees. Take a "Shikara" (Small paddleboat) ride over Dal Lake visiting Nehru Park, kabutarkhana, Char Chinari Gardens and Floating Gardens and also visit a Carpet Weaving Center, on arrival check in Hotel / Houseboat, overnight stay.

After breakfast Srinagar local sight seeing Mughal gardens ie Nishat (garden of pleasure), Shalimar (Abode of Love), Cheshmashai (Royal spring), also visit Shankracharaya temple, return back, overnight stay at deluxe houseboat in Dal Lake.

After breakfast proceed to Gulmerg" Meadow of Flowers" The charming hill resort is 56 kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 2730 Mts. The route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is lined with towering popular trees and the distance is covered in 02 hours approx. Gulmarg was once called Gauri marg in honor of Gauri, Lord Shiva's wife. Its name changed in 1581 A.D by king Yussuf Shah, a regular summer visitor. The Mughal Emperor Jehangir once collected 21 different kinds of flowers here. Gulmarg offers a magnificent view of Nanga Parbat, one of the highest mountains in the world and is an excellent winter sports center. It also is the highest green golf course in the world, overnight stay at Deluxe Hotel at Gulmerg.
