Spitivalley Adventure Trip 11 Night - 12 Days

As we know that you’ll be on a journey to refresh your body, mind and soul are travel executive will greet you upon your arrival to Chandigarh Airport/Railway station/Bus stand. Your chosen car with our skilled driver will take you to Narkanda which will be 174 kms journey. We assure you that high standards and comfort is maintained. In between you will witness the beauty of Shimla followed by Fagu, Theog , Matiana and the rich heritage of Himachal i.e. apple orchards. In the evening, when you will reach Narkanda, Hotel staff will be waiting for you to serve their hospitality at their best.

Post breakfast, Our taxi service will proceed for Kinnaur, Sangla Valley via Sarahan, which is gateway to Kinnaur Valley. In between you will explore Hattu Peak, Kali temple,Cricket ground, Hawa Mahal. Hatu peak is surrounded by dense forest of conifers, oaks & maples, it is the second highest peak in Shimla at 3400 m above sea level. Further the road trip will be followed by Narkanda to sandal which will take 4 hours. After the stoppage at the temple, Narkanda to Sangla road trip will take you over four hours. Towards the end of the day, you can spend the night in a hotel in Sangla valley

Next morning after your breakfast, the day will begin with sightseeing of chitkul-Sangla Valley. This place is a true demonstration of nature where purity flows in the air. First spot will be Kamru Fort which is the home of Kamaksha Devi situated at its peak. The kamru Fort holds the ancient architecture which is very rarely seen in todays world. After taking the blessings from Kamaksha Devi, you will head towards Sangla. The valley has crystal clear rivers flowing from from never-ending mountains and glaciers which flows down from the Baspa Hills. The charm of this place will relax you and give you a relief from all your tensions. After this you will arrive at Chitkul Village which is the closest village to Tibetan Border and Indian roads ends here. It is famous for its potatoes all over the world. After this you will be taken back to hotel where you can rest.

From here the terrain will start changing. After having your breakfast, our taxi service will drive you to Tabo which is 9 hours of journey. You will visit Puh,Nako (Nako lake) and Gue villages (mummy village)– the last villages of India on Indo-Tibetan Border and explore them. Gue gained its popularity when mummy of Buddhist Monk of 15th century was discovered. You can explore these villages and after this your stay will be arranged at Tabo, where you can take rest.

Its the 6th day and there lots more discover. Our cab driver will escort you to Tabo Monastery, the oldest Monastery of Himachal Pradesh, founded in 996 CE in the Tibetan year of the Fire Ape. There are priceless collections of scrolls, paintings and manuscripts at every wall. After this you will head towards Mane village which is 1.5 hours of journey. Over there you’ll rest at homestay and prepare for next day trek to Dogsa, Ong-dang gorge, Chudolsa waterfall and Sooona lake or Yang-tso lake.

After breakfast at 7;30 we will move for trek with a professional guide. He will lead a trek, taking you through various beautiful sights. After three hours of trek we will be at Yang-tso lake, spending some quality time there move to Chu-dolsa waterfall. From waterfall move to Dogsa, there we will have our lunch at camp site enjoying a panoramic view of spiti valley. After lunch back to village through Ong-dang gorge or enjoy and learn adventure activities like rock climbing, rappelling, jummaring etc.

After breakfast you will head towards Kaza which is 3 hours of journey. Over there you’ll visit Dhankar monastery and fort. Dhankar monastery speciality is the complex built on high spur – on of the world’s most spectacular setting for a gompa. Dhankar was old capital of Spiti. Explore Kaza at evening and back to Mane.

After having your breakfast, get ready to explore Kaza. This is the sub divisional Headquarters of Lauhul and Spiti district. Kaza Valley have strong geographical and cultural similarities with Tibet and Ladakh which can be clearly experienced while exploring. You can buy souvenirs from local market, engage with people and get to know how they live in such conditions. What they do for living, how they always stay happy and much more. After lunch we will visit Langza (Buddha statue)Hikkim (worlds highest post office) Khomic (worlds highest village),In the evening, you will return to your Kaza hotel for the night.

This day is a special day, you will visit largest and most iconic monastery of spiti valley Kee monastery. After a tour of monastery guide will take you for a little trek from there you can see whole monastery from top angle along Spiti river. After lunch move to asias highest bridge i.e Chicham bridge and back to Kaza via Kibber village.

After having your breakfast, your 10th day will be full of awe moments. Your drive will be to Chandratal lake via Kunzum Pass and Baital. Chandrataak lake is also called the “Moon Lake” and one of the top destinations to be visited in Himachal Pradesh .Walking on chandratal lake is an ultimate experience as you challenge yourself to your limits of trekking. Upon reaching Chandratal you will see the crystal clear mirror reflection lake which has crescent shaped, due to which it got his name.The astonishing view, sense of achieving something in life will not let you leave this place. When you will reach there we have a surprise for you I.e an overnight stay in a camp at Chandratal Lake. You will meet other trekkers from different parts of the world, share each others experiences and take back new friends memories with you.

The trip is almost going to get over but we have arranged few more things for you. The Road to Manali will show you how beautiful Himachal Pradesh is. Some famous Passes like Kunzum pass which is at an elevation of 4,558 meters, Rohtang Pass at 3,980 meters and Mt. Chandrabhaga 13 on Dhaka glacier will blow your mind and while traveling you will think the benefits of this trip which you have gained in these few days.
