On arrival at Delhi drive to Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh; check in to the hotel & overnight Shimla

Today after breakfast we take an excursion to Kufri, an excellent Ski resort in the winter. Thereafter we proceed to Chail, former summer capital of the Maharaja of Patiala. It is a peaceful haven in the mountains. Overnight at Shimla.

Early morning transfer by road to Manali, located in the ancient Kullu valley, surrounded by towering peaks at an arm length. Arrive and check in the hotel, rest of the day is at leisure to visit the local markets. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, we proceed for a city tour visiting Dhungri Temple, dedicated to Hadimba Devi, Vashisht Bath (for hot springs) & JagatSuk, the ancient capital of Kullu. Evening is free to take a walking tour of the town. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Today we have an early start as we go to Rohtang Pass at an altitude of 4112 metres on the route to Keylong which is the only access to the Lahual Valley near the Indo-Tibetan border, which is primitive and rugged surrounded by high snow capped mountains and massive glaciers. Return in the evening for overnight stay at the hotel.

Morning proceed by road to Dharamshala, magnificently set to the background of the Dhauldhar mountains and the seat of his Holiness, the Dalai Lama, the leader of the Tibetans, since 1960. Arrive and check in to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure; overnight stay at the hotel.

Dharamshala is split into 2 Upper and Lower Dharamshala. This morning we will visit Kotwali Bazaar in Lower Dharamshala, which is a narrow road with shops on both sides. Proceed to YOL camp where World War II Italian prisoners were kept, onwards to the war memorial, which commemorates the sacrifices of the Himachal War Heroes. Between the Upper & Lower Dharamshala is the school of Tibetan Culture Library. Later drive to Upper Dharamshala & Mcleod Ganj where one can shop for Tibetan carpets, Tangkhas etc. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight.

To take leisurely walks on the mall Morning after breakfast drive to Dalhousie, sprawled over five hills ranging from 1,600 – 2,400 meters offering breathtaking vies of the Dhaladhar mountain ranges. Rest of the day is at leisure road. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Excursion to Khajjiar, popularly known as the mini Swiss for its snow capped mountains and pine trees. However, some other forms of entertainment available here are horse riding and big wheel rides. Later return to Dalhousie. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
