Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Kandy

Arrival At the Colombo international airport, in the heart of the Pearl Island of the Indian Ocean.

Pls. wait at the airport for the other guests coming from different Parts of India who will be your co-travellers in this amazing cultural journey and holiday. We meet and greet Namaste, Satshriakal, AslamValekum, Vanakam, Hello, Jai Shri Krishna, Juley and now Ayubowan, the SriLankan Way of Greeting & Getting Together!!

At 1330 Hrs: Our representative will meet and greet all the guests and assist with the transfer to Kandy. Guests, who need separate transfer, due to arriving late /do not wish to wait, can do so by paying the additional supplement for Transfers.

Transfer to Kandy, the cultural capital, and the last kingdom of the country.

Vegetarian Indian lunch at an outside restaurant on the way to Kandy.

Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en-route, where the orphan elephants who cannot be released to the wild for various reasons are kept. Visit to spice garden to learn about Sri Lanka’s one of the most treasured culinary secrets. Enjoy free (optional) head massage at the spice garden for a relaxing experience. Check-in to the hotel in Kandy for a relaxing evening and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 : Kandy

Wakeup to a beautiful Kandy morning. Breakfast at the hotel and visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic for early morning blessing. Visit Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya, home to 4 000 different species of plants and spectacular Orchid collection, regarded amongst the most superior in Asia.

Vegetarian Indian lunch in an outside restaurant in Kandy or similar based on the availability.

Visit to the gem arcade and museum to learn the secrets of Sri Lanka’s centuries old popular export. Kandy city tour followed by the cultural show in the evening, where traditional Kandyan dancers perform their centuries-old dancing routines. Back to the hotel for the dinner and the overnight stay.

Day 3 : Nuwara eliya

Breakfast at the hotel before hitting the road to transfer to Nuwara Eliya, legendary tea country in central highlands. Journey from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya itself would be an experience to savor due to beautiful sceneries and the

landscape surrounding the road. Nuwara Eliya was the preferred holiday destination for the British civil servants and planters during the colonial time due to its cool climate. Visit Ramboda Falls, the viewpoint and Sri Hannuman Temple on the way.

Visit Labookellie Estate Tea Factory, renowned for producing some of Ceylon’s finest Teas and the estate itself, established nearly 150 years ago. After learning the manufacturing process indulge yourself with a high tea at the Damro Labookellie Tea Lounge with option to buy tea from one of its finest sources.

Engage yourself on a boat ride experience at the Gregory Lake, where you can enjoy catching the chilling breeze on your face and see the Nuwaraeliya City from the lake.

Visit to Victoria Park, Sitha Amman Temple where latter is a part of the Ramayana history.

Special dinner arrangement on the shores of the Gregory Lake. Enjoy authentic Sri Lankan’s cuisine with BBQ, while overlooking the magical views of Nuwara Eliya at night over the waters of the Gregory Lake. Sip of local sprit or beer to add bit of a fizz into what would be already an exciting evening. Back to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 4 : bentota

Breakfast at the hotel ahead of another scenic journey to Bentota. Bentota is the most popular resort town in Sri Lanka and fast becoming the water sports capital of the country. Popular among the visitors looking for golden sandy beaches and some adventure in water sport.

En-route stop by in Kithulgala for what would be one of the most exciting experiences of your tour. Situated in the banks of Kelani River, the fast moving and crystal-clear water of the Kelani River provide ideal location for white water rafting. Get your adrenalin pumping riding the waves for an unforgettable experience.

Day 5 : Ahungalla

Wake up to the sounds of the morning waves crashing to the shore and prepare for action packed day. Breakfast at the hotel before embarking on the quest to explore the southern part of paradise island.

Visit Galle, the charming capital city of the south. Explore the Dutch fort and the related colonial past. Galle Dutch fort is one of the best-preserved colonial forts of the country overlooking the famous Galle cricket stadium. Visit sea museum to learn the influence sea had on shaping up the lives of the people in that part of the country.
Experience one of the finest products in the region. Coconut toddy where the sap from the Coconut palm flower makes slightly alcoholic and refreshing drink. (Subject to the availability and the time limitations)

Our driver/guide will help you to discover Colombo and its charm during the city tour including key attractions like Gangaramaya Temple, Marina Park in Fort City, Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park, Dutch Hospital, Temple of Sri Kailawasanathan Swami Devasthanam Kovil and Independence Memorial Hall.
