Explore northern Tanzanias wildlife in three of its most famous national parks on a 4 day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Serengeti National Park is the largest national park, famous for its more than 1 million wildebeests along with more than 250,000 zebras. Ngorongoro Crater is a highlight with beautiful scenery and surreal views of the crater making it easy to observe the animals at the bottom of the crater. Tarangire National Park is a miniature Serengeti but is famous for its large number of elephants.
Arrival Day. Arrive in Tanzania and be met at the airport for transfer to Arusha. Airport pick up is included and accommodation in Arusha is provided. This day covers arrival formalities, transfer to your Arusha accommodation and settling in for the safari start.
Depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is noted for its large elephant populations and varied wildlife. Enjoy game drives in Tarangire, viewing wildlife and landscapes, then proceed to your overnight accommodation in a safari lodge or tented camp.
Transfer from Tarangire to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is famed for its vast herds including more than 1 million wildebeests and around 250,000 zebras. Conduct game drives in the Serengeti to encounter large mammal populations and classic savanna scenery, then overnight in safari accommodation.
Leave the Serengeti and travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Ngorongoro Crater. The crater provides stunning scenery and concentrated wildlife viewing opportunities in a natural amphitheater. Descend into the crater for game viewing and enjoy the unique landscape before overnight accommodation.
Visit Ngorongoro Crater followed by return transfer to Arusha and onward transfer to the airport for departure. The day includes crater exploration and travel back to Arusha with airport drop off included.
