Arrival day. Guests are met on arrival and transferred to Arusha where they check in to their accommodation. Airport pickup is included and guests can relax, prepare for the safari and meet their guide. Overnight stay in Arusha before commencing the safari.
Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for full day game drives. Tarangire is noted for large elephant herds and giant baobab trees and hosts giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, eland, buffalo, warthogs, baboons, impalas and rare species such as gerenuk and greater kudu, oryx and others. More than 400 bird species are recorded here. Guests enjoy wildlife viewing, photography and an overnight stay in a safari lodge or tented camp within or near the park.
Early morning activities and game viewing in Tarangire then depart for Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for crater floor game drives with opportunities to see predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and jackals plus many birds of prey. After game viewing in the crater return to Arusha where the safari concludes with drop off or onward transfer.
