Highlights include large elephant herds and giant baobab trees at Tarangire, sightings of giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, eland, buffalo, warthogs, baboons, impalas and rarer species mentioned, and abundant birdlife. The itinerary may be re routed or accommodation changed in case of non availability and upgrades to luxury accommodation are available.
Arrival Day in Arusha. Guests arrive and are met on arrival with airport pick up and transferred to accommodation in Arusha. This day serves as arrival and preparation day before commencing the safari, with accommodation in Arusha included for the night.
Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing and photo safari. Tarangire is noted for large elephant herds and giant baobab trees and hosts around 6000 elephants. Expect to search for and photograph elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, eland, buffalo, warthogs, baboons, impalas and rarer species mentioned in the park. More than 400 species of birds have been recorded here. Overnight stay is in a safari lodge or tented camp as per arrangements.

Transfer from Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing in the crater and further wildlife experiences, then return to Arusha. Ngorongoro Crater offers concentrated wildlife viewing where you may encounter predators and plains animals. Expect sightings of lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals and numerous bird species. After crater activities guests return to Arusha where the safari concludes with drop off or overnight as arranged.
