• Day 1 : The Buddhist Circuit

• Day 2 : Hindu Pilgrimage and Ancient History

  Day two focuses on the city of Gaya itself, a major pilgrimage site for Hindus, and other historical sites.
  
  Morning (7:00 AM - 12:00 PM): Vishnupad Temple and Falgu River Begin your day with a visit to one of Gaya's most revered Hindu sites.
  
  Vishnupad Temple: This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is famous for a footprint of the deity imprinted on a rock. It is an important site for performing ancestral rituals known as pind daan.
  
  Falgu River: Walk along the banks of the Falgu River, where devotees perform rituals. The river is known for its unique characteristic of flowing underground for most of the year.
  
  Afternoon (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM): Ancient Caves and Local Culture Explore the historical rock-cut caves and immerse yourself in the local market scene.
  
  Barabar Caves: About 40 km from Gaya, these ancient rock-cut caves date back to the Mauryan period and are considered some of the oldest in India. They are a testament to the skill of ancient Indian artisans.
  
  Gaya Market: In the evening, take a stroll through the bustling local markets. It's a great place to sample local street food like litti chokha and the famous Gaya peda (a sweet) and shop for souvenirs.
