Package Overview

This 5-day, 4 nights tour presents travelers with the rare opportunity to discover two different cultures within only four days. This tour will maximize any travelers’ time in either Dubrovnik or Split by blending the highlights of the Dalmatian coast with magical locations around Bosnia and Herzegovina. History buffs, photographers and nature lovers will revel in discoveries around the Dubrovnik Riviera; from the beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries and forts that have been protected for centuries by the city walls of the Old Town in Dubrovnik, to charming villages in Konavle region and local traditions, there is so much to see and experience here. Travelers will get to learn about traditional silk yarn production, enjoy live music during a vivacious dinner hosted in a local village and enjoy some delicious shellfish on a boat in Mali Ston.

Equally captivating, Balkan’s most famous bridge arches over the Neretva River in Mostar, accompanied by narrow alleys humming with restaurants and cafes. Winding road to Sarajevo affords striking landscape panoramas of the Neretva Canyon, while remarkable Ottoman architecture in Stolac and Tekija monastery built by River Buna source stand to tell about the long history of the region. Vjeternica caves, the largest cave system in Bosnia and Herzegovia and bird reserve Hutovo Blato are just another reason not to miss visiting this area.

Back in Croatia, Split, a city that grew around the Diocletian’s Palace, is now the largest city in Dalmatia. History and modern day trends blend seamlessly on Split’s busy streets and popular riva promenade. Nearby is Trogir, an isle city, protected by UNESCO, and area rich in local delicacies and vineyards.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Dubrovnik (optional Konavle, Mali Ston, Cavtat)

  Arrival to Dubrovnik and possible excursions to Konavle, Mali Ston or Cavtat.

• Day 2 : Dubrovnik, Mostar

  Morning hours are reserved for a city tour of the famous Old Town, UNESCO site, Dubrovnik's fascinating historic center with its imposing city walls. We will then drive to the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina, our journey awarded with magnificent landscapes. Tour of Mostar, including the most famous bridge in Balkans, Old Bridge over Neretva River, a UNESCO site.

• Day 3 : Mostar (optional Sarajevo, Stolac, Vjetrenica Caves, Hutovo Blato, Tekija)

  Today we are represented with a choice; we can stay and enjoy historic cobbled alleys and romantic nooks around Mostar or take a trip to Sarajevo, vibrant capital city of Bosnia, and beautiful Stolac town, cave Veternica, Hutovo Blato Bird Reserve and Tekija village.

• Day 4 : Split

  We return to Croatia to spend a day in Split, Dalmatia region’s largest city with long history. City tour of the ancient city center, stroll on the popular Split Riva and visit the UNESCO site Diocletian's Palace.

• Day 5 : Split

  Departure from Split.
