Drive to Abedelale Natural Hot Spring and end of Awash River/Awash Delta to Lakes Afambo Lake, on the way, visit the Haussa Afar Royal Village by the side of Awash River, then proceed to Semera for an overnight. Camping.

After break fast collect your permit paper to visit the volcano area of Ertale, Drive from Semera to Afdera Salt Lake. Overnight camping by the Lake.

We drive from Afdera to Whydodo (a village where we arrange a scout and camels) then we go to the foot of the mountain Known us Dodem (no village) the drive takes 1 hour because of the Basaltic & sandy desert road condition.At Dodom we wait for the camels that take more than an hour to reach Dodom from whydodo village; till then the cook will make us our meals and we will be ready for immediate departure when our camels reach us.
When the team is ready we will start ascending and reach the summit of Erta Ale around Mid night.

Spend the whole day at Erta-Ale, enjoy the marvelous view of the active volcanic eruption, the dry lava around the carter lake and at night the volcanic eruption be¬comes more colorful and beautiful.
Around 09:00 p.m start to descend to our camp base at Dodom
We rest the night here until 05:30 A.M here of next day.

Ahmedela (Dallol) Right after break fast (06:00 A.M) pack our things and start our journey to Ahmedela passing whydodo village by the sandy river basin. Overnight Camping Ahmedela.
