Why climb the trail to Triund? Triund is base camp for trekkers going to Chamba and Bharmaur. Lush green meadows, views of Dhauladhar range, sunset and panorama of Kangra Valley, Plains of Punjab and Shivalik Range are the unique sights from this place. There is a water scarcity at Triund. Trail is small and easy which can be completed from Dhatramkot also, around 7KM from here takes around 3 hours to reach Triund passes through Galu Devi Temple. First 4 KMs of the trek are a gradual incline walk while the climb gets steeper towards final few KMs up the Triund Ridge.
