Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin

  Begin your Tour. Arrive into Cochin Welcome to your "Tropical Beach Tour India" On arrival in Cochin, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel. Later proceed on a sight seeing tour, which includes a visit to the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing net. Evening witness Kathakali, the famous dance-drama of Kerala.. Overnight :Hotel.

• Day 2 : Cochin - Periyar

  Morning drive on a scenic route dotted with plantations of rubber, cardamom, cocoa, green pepper and areca nut, to the wildlife reserve at Periyar. Upon arrival at Periyar check into your hotel. Rest of the day free for walk around in the peaceful town known for various Spice and coffee plantations. Overnight :Hotel .

• Day 3 : Periyar - Munnar

  Early morning enjoy a boat ride on Lake Periyar to see wild elephants. Afternoon drive to Munnar, the famous hill station of Kerala. Upon arrival at Munnar check into your hotel. Overnight :Hotel.

• Day 4 : Munnar

  After breakfast proceed on a city tour of Munnar Visit Eravikulam National Park to see rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, Old Munnar Town, Dairy Farm and the Mattupetty Dam. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own. Overnight :Hotel .

• Day 5 : Munnar - Kumarakom

  This morning after breakfast drive to Kumarakom. The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands and this small water world is part of the Kuttanad region. A picturesque, clean village, Kumarakom is a tiny hamlet on the banks of a lagoon formed by the Vembanad lake. The very beauty of this destination is the calm and serene environment. Check in to your resort where calm, emerald backwaters reflect hundreds of thousands of gently swaying palms where the primary attraction however, is its lazy ambience. Enjoy the sunset cruise in the evening. Overnight :Hotel.

• Day 6 : Kumarakom - Alleppey

  This morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey. Alleppey is called the Venice of the east. Alleppey is spread through canal’s, lake’s & lagoon’s. This is the main hub for backwater cruises.Alleppey lies between Arbian sea & Vembanad lake. On arrival Alleppey board the traditional HOUSEBOAT (Kettuvallam) and enjoy a cruise along the famous backwaters of Alleppey. Spend the next 24 hours in your floating villa. Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala by getting a glimpse of the village life from a close quarter. Enjoy the sunset and stay overnight on the houseboat. While sailing down a maze of canals one sees different scenes from the villages, paddy fields, coconut palms, fisherman and local life. Lunch, dinner next day breakfast and tea snacks will be provided in the boat. The cool breeze from the Lake make you sleep early in the night after anchoring in a fancy place. The stay includes all three meals i.e. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. It will definitely be a unique and unforgettable experience for your lifetime. Overnight : Houseboat .

• Day 7 : This Morning After Breakfast Drive to Alleppey. Alleppey is Called the Venice of the East. Alleppey

  The houseboat comes to a halt at Alleppey today morning. After breakfast proceed to Kovalam and transfer to hotel on arrival. Today you will spend the whole day visiting several attractions in and around the town. Start with a visit to Thiruvanthapuram and visit the famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple , Museum Complex, Science and Technology Museum , Aakulam Boat Club, Veli Tourist Village and the lovely Shangmugham Beach . Spend night in Kovalam. Overnight: Hotel.

• Day 8 : Koavalam-Kanyakumari-Kovalam

  Next morning, stroll down the beautiful beaches of Kovalam followed by journey to Cape Camorin. Do not miss the magnificent Padmanabhapuram Palace & Archeological museum. You must drive back to Kovalam by evening and take rest. Rest of thr day free to relax at the golden beach. Overnight: Hotel .

• Day 9 : Kovalam - Trivandrum (Back Home)

  Departure After breakfast transfer to Airport / Railway station to board the flight/Train for your onward journey to back home with sweet and unforgettable memories of "Tropical Beach Tour India" escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
