Day 1 Mombasa To Tsavo East

Tsavo East National Park

Depart early morning
Leave Mombasa or Diani around 5:00 AM to reach Tsavo East’s Voi Gate by mid-morning, ensuring maximum time inside the park.

Enter Tsavo East National Park
Arrive at the park gate around 8:30–9:00 AM, complete entry formalities, and begin your game drive.

Morning game drive
Explore areas like Aruba Dam and the open savannah, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and possibly cheetahs.

Lunch break Enjoy lunch at a lodge or designated picnic site inside the park, with views of wildlife and the red-dust landscapes.

Afternoon game drive
Continue exploring towards prime spots for elephants and birdlife.

Exit the park Leave Tsavo East around 2:30–3:00 PM to allow enough time for the return journey.
