Tsavo East / Tsavo West / Amboseli / Naivasha / Nakuru / Masai Mara By Road - Economy Safari for 13

Pick up and depart for Tsavo East driving towards the main Mombasa Nairobi highway with a short break mid morning. Arrive at Tsavo East by about 1400hrs. After lunch relax at the lodge until the scheduled afternoon game drive at 1530hrs continuing until 1830hrs. Expect to see elephants including the red elephant, lions, cheetah, zebra, antelopes, giraffe, gazelles and other herbivores. Accommodation at Voi Safari Lodge or similar.

Full day in Tsavo East National Park with game viewing from lodge and through scheduled drives. The park is home to the red elephants, lions, cheetah, zebra, antelopes, giraffe, gazelles and many other wild herbivores often seen near lodge waterholes. Landscape is generally flat aiding photography. Evening return to lodge for dinner and overnight at Voi Safari Lodge or similar.

Depart Tsavo East and travel en route to Tsavo West with a game drive starting from about 0800hrs. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and check in. After lunch relax at the lodge and depart at 1500hrs for the evening game drive until 1830hrs then return to the lodge for dinner. Expect to see elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, antelopes, giraffe, gazelles and possibly buffalo, leopard and rhino. Accommodation at Ngulia Safari Lodge or similar.

Transfer to Amboseli National Park, the area known for spectacular views of Mt Kilimanjaro and large populations of elephants. Amboseli covers about 400 sq km with semi arid acacia and grassland, papyrus edges in swamplands and diverse animal and birdlife. Enjoy game viewing in the park with opportunities to photograph elephants framed by Kilimanjaro and to spot lions, cheetah, leopard, zebra, hippo, black rhino, Masai giraffe and many antelopes. Accommodation at AA Lodge Amboseli or similar.

Full day exploring Amboseli with game drives providing close views of wildlife and scenic photography opportunities of Mt Kilimanjaro. The park supports diverse mammals and abundant birdlife. Enjoy morning and afternoon drives with guide commentary and return to lodge for relaxation and meals. Accommodation at AA Lodge Amboseli or similar.

Travel towards the Rift Valley with a stop for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha en route to Lake Nakuru. Lake Naivasha is flanked by papyrus swamp and offers bird watching and optional activities. Proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park known for its birdlife and conservation of black and white rhino and Rothschild giraffe. Accommodation at Hotel Waterbuck or similar.

Full day at Lake Nakuru National Park famous for birdlife including thousands of flamingoes and over 400 bird species. Park protects endangered black and white rhino and Rothschild giraffe and hosts lions, leopards, hyenas, primates and many herbivores. Game drives and bird watching with opportunities to see rhino and giraffe. Accommodation at Hotel Waterbuck or similar.

Drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve, the heart of Kenya game viewing and part of the same ecosystem as Tanzania Serengeti. The Mara is famed for the wildebeest and zebra migration, big cat activity and diverse savannah landscapes with acacia woodland, thickets and riverine forest. Arrive and settle at camp with opportunity for afternoon or evening game drive. Accommodation at Masai Manyatta Camp or similar.

Full day game drives in Masai Mara with unlimited opportunities for wildlife viewing, photography and tracking the wildebeest migration. The reserve offers sightings of lions, leopards, cheetahs and many plains herbivores, as well as cultural interaction with the Masai Moran people if available. Return to camp for meals and overnight.

Another full day in Masai Mara with continued wildlife watching, unlimited game drives and photography. Explore different areas of the reserve with your safari vehicle and driver guide to maximize sightings of the Big Five and other species. Overnight at Masai Manyatta Camp or similar.
