Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival

Pick up from Jammu Airport/Railway Station and transfer to Katra (60 kms). Check into the hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Katra
Day 2

Vaishno Devi Darshan

Early morning after breakfast, proceed for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan. Trek down to Katra after Darshan. Overnight stay at Katra.
Day 3

Proceed for Pahalgam

Early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed for Pahalgam (252 Kms) which is around 9-10 hours drive from Katra. Pahalgam was once the most popular hill station for the Indian Film Industry. This place is famous for its rich scenic beauty, healthy climate, vast meadows, adventure tourism and its breathtaking views. Enjoy the view of picturesque mountains and the river 'Lidder' while on the way to Pahalgam. En route visit Patnitop, a famous hill resort perched on a beautiful plateau, at an altitude of 2024 metres across which the Jammu-Srinagar Highway passes. Also see the first hill resort of this circuit, Kud (1738 m) on the way. You can have tea and refreshment here. Check into the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay at Pahalgam.

Day 4

Proceed for Srinagar

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and explore places around Pahalgam like Betab Valey, Aru Valley and Chandanwari by hiring a local taxi as outside tourist vehicles are not allowed there. Proceed for Srinagar in the evening and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 5

Gulmarg

After breakfast, proceed for Gulmarg (54 Kms) which is the most famous & scenic hill resort of Kashmir. Free at leisure for rest of the day. You may enjoy horse riding on plush meadows. Have Gandola ride upto the peak heights of Khilanmarg for which tickets are available at J&K State Cable Car Corporation office in Gulmarg. Advance Gondola tickets may also be purchased from Tourist Reception Center (TRC), Srinagar or same may be booked online to avoid standing in long queues at ticket counters in Gulmarg. Back to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay at Srinaga

Day 6

Local Sightseeing at Srinagar

Dal Lake

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to houseboat. Visit the famous Shankryacharya Temple, Mughal Gardens viz; Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Chashma Shahi etc. and other famous tourist places like Pari Mahal, Botanical Garden, Nehru Park etc. Enjoy Shikara ride in Dal Lake. Have evening walk through Boulevard Road on the banks of Dal Lake. Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 7

Departure

After breakfast, check out from the houseboat & drop at Airport for return journey. In case of departure from Jammu, proceed for Jammu in the early morning and drop at Railway Stati
