Also, Maharashtra being rich in history and culture, Visapur fort is yet another place which has a long and great history associated with it. The fort was built by Balaji Viswanath in 18th century. You will find many remains of the fort like water cisterns, dilapidated walls at the summit. Even though Visapur Fort was built much later Lohagad fort, there history is closely linked.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Visapur Trek

08:30 am Meeting near Malavali Railway station Ticket Counter
08:45 am Travel to Bhaje by Private vehicles.
09:20 am Reach Bhaje Village
09:35 am Freshen up and have Breakfast, Tea
10:00 am Introduction round and brief on rules and regulations, Start the Trek
12:00 pm Reach the top. Explore the fort
02:00 pm Start descend.
03:30 pm Reach the base village and have lunch.
04:30 pm Start the return Journey towards Malivali Railway Station
05:30 pm Reach Malavali Railway station and trek ends.

Event Fee: Rs.750/- per person. Payment once done is non-refundable, do check for availability before making a payment.

And a haversack or backpack to put all the above things to be carried, so hands are free to help each other while trekking. Sling bags / jholas / trolley bags etc not allowed on the event. Please pack accordingly.
