Day 1

Arrival

Kathakali

Arrive Cochin Airport/Railway Station , meet and greet by our representative drive to Thekkady (05 Hrs drive). On the way visit Waterfalls, Spice & Ayurvedic Gardens and on arrival at Thekkady check into Hotel and relax. Evening you can visit the Market for small purchase and visit the Show centre for KATHAKALI (an important genre in the Indian classical dance form, is associated with storytelling form of this art. It is the dance drama from the south Indian state of Kerala.) and KALARIPAYATTU (Kalaripayatt is a martial art, which originated in Kerala, and spreaded among old kingdoms of thiruvithamcore, venad and malabar regions of kerala. The word kalari describe institute or centre for martial art.) (tickets to be taken by guest directly) after the show go back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2

Thekkady

After breakfast proceed to explore the wildness of Thekkady - one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. (Sanctuary entry tickets to be taken from the Forest Office at Thekkady Parking Ground and Boating tickets to be taken at Sanctuary boat jetty by guest directly. Tips: book the tickets online for time saving.), Optional activities like Elephant Ride, Bating, Feeding, Jeep Safari in jungle borders, Bamboo Rafting, Tribal Visit, Trekking inside the Jungle can be done at an extra cost. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

Departure

Dutch Palace

After breakfast check out from the Hotel and drive to Cochin , visit Fort Cochin - Dutch Palace (Mattanchery palace), Synagogue, Chinese fishing net etc. and drop to Cochin Airport or Railway Station (depend on your departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in the God's Own Country.
