Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 - Delhi - Leh

On the first day of Enchanting Leh Ladakh tour, take the flight to Leh airport. On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. Take the hotel and the rest of the day is at complete rest to acclimatize. Evening walk past the markets. You will see here lots of handicrafts and souvenirs. You can have some snacks. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 2 - Leh - Alchi

After breakfast, you would go on an excursion trip to Alchi Monastery. En-route you will visit the great statue of Maitreya Buddha at Likir monastery. Also explore the Sangam of Indus & Zanskar Rivers.

Reaching the Alchi monastery explore its 1000 years old paintings. There are three major shrines in the monastery complex: the Dukhang (Assembly hall), the Sumtseg and the Temple of Manjurshi. All the shrines date back to 12th and early 13th centuries. Alchi village is a beautiful mountain village located on the bank of the Indus River. The Alchi Gompa has beautiful wood carvings and Buddha statues. Drive back to Leh.

Day 3 - Leh - Khardong La Pass

After having breakfast, you would drive to Khardongla Pass located at 18360 ft. It is the world's highest motorable pass.

Afternoon visit Stok Palace Museum which houses royal artifacts and other art works. Visit the Thiksey Monastery which houses the most photographed statue of Maitreya Buddha in India. Overnight stay at Leh hotel.

Day 4 - Leh - Pangong Lake

Early morning you would set out your excursion to Pangong Lake. It is about 135 kms from Leh. One of the most beautiful lakes in Himalayas this lake is about 140 kms long and 3-5 kms in width. More than half of the lake is a part of China. Explore the beauty of the mountain lake. Take photographs. Drive back to Leh. In the evening flock the markets. You can have a Tibetan dish in dinner. Stay overnight.

Day 5 - Leh - Delhi

On the concluding day of your Leh Ladakh Tour, take the flight to Delhi and then board your flight back home.
